Course Curriculum Overview

5

Overall Rating: I would rate the curriculum highly for its comprehensive balance between core computer science principles and essential hardware engineering. The B.Tech CSE(2025) syllabus offers a unique bridge between low-level hardware control and high-level software development. Courses like Basic electrical and Electronics engineering introduces with electronic domain. This syllabus combines both hardware and software in a perfect blende.

Internships Opportunities

3

By the names of palcement the college provides only intership opportunities to students and that too research based internships for which students have to pay for that interships. The college is manily focused for electronics and CSE Branch was intoduced in 2024 so there is no placement and internship record for CSE is available. And a very handful of companies visits here and all these are local companies.

Campus Life

1

Campus life is primarily focused on academics, providing students with an environment to concentrate on their studies. The campus has facilities such as a badminton court and a volleyball court that students can use for recreation. Student-led activities and events are occasionally organized with active participation from students, helping them develop teamwork and leadership skills. Seniors also take initiatives to organize sports-related activities and competitions. The library provides a quiet space for reading and studying. Students can access academic books through the library's issue system, where course-related books are made available semester-wise. The institution emphasizes academic resources and encourages students to make use of the available study materials. Students interested in sports and extracurricular activities can participate in the opportunities and initiatives organized within the campus community.

Hostel Facilities

2

You have share a small room with 3 other members and you have provided with two bunk beds two ceiling fans and 4 lights alongwith 4 study table and 4 chairs. With 4 cupbords. In some rooms light, fans and switch board conditons good and furnitures are very old condition. The mess food is like okay okay not so good but not that bad also. Someday you get good food and sometimes it's hard to eat. The hostel registration process is quite easy and you will get hostel at the time of admission only. CAUTION As there are only two boys hostel and limited number of rooms. From this year and now they are having a rule of CGPA to provide hsotel to students.

Admission

As I did not have a rank that would allow admission to premier institutes like NITs, IITs, or IIITs, I explored other available options. I had a rank that was sufficient to secure admission to a GFTI, and while researching colleges, I came across this institute and decided to consider it. One of the reasons that attracted me and many of my batchmates was its name, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, which reflects its focus on technical education and learning. The college is centrally funded and continues to provide opportunities for students to pursue their academic and professional goals.

Faculty

4

FACULTY REVIEW The Faculty members are quite supportive. There are no dedicated faculty members. Only some staffs are there and they have to take care of both administrations as well as teaching. Extra burden on faculty. Some of the faculty members and lab assitants are graduated form the college itself. _____________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________ EXAM PATTERN Overall marking scheme(100 Total Weightage): 1. Mid semester Examination: 20 2. End semester Examination: 40 3. Continuous Assessment(Practica/Lab/Tutorial): 25 4. Continuous Assesment(Theory): 15 End Semester Examination Sturcture: The End semester exam is comprehensively structured into 3 sections totaling 100 marks which is then scaled down to 40 marks. Section A: 5 questions of Two marks each. All questions are mandatory. Section B: 7 questions of 10 marks each. Students must attempt any 5. Section C: 6 questions of 10 marks each. Students must attempt any 4.

Night Life

3

The campus is compact and provides a peaceful environment for students to focus on academics. There is a mess facility where students often spend time after classes. The campus is located away from the busy market area, which offers a quieter atmosphere. Shops for daily necessities are available within walking distance of about 1 km from the campus. There is also a hill called Goga Baba Tekri nearby, where students often go for trekking, recreation, and relaxation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
