Remarks

Positive- there are many positives such as roles and responsibilities which are given to the students nd they see to it that students are involved in major activity nd our involvement is seen in all the students. Negetive- when things do go sore then it will be criticized heavely and much scrutiny is seen post these episodes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is good, it's more focused on naturopathy and yoga throughout the 5 years and this is Asia's oldest naturopathy college giving medical degree in the field of naturopathy and yoga. The curriculum covers from varied range of modern understanding of body from modern diagnostics to basic anatomy physiology, from gynaecology to community medicine. Along with traditional ways of treatment and diagnostic, from massage therapy to hydrotherapy, from acupuncture to fasting and nutrition.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement are there in the field and opportunities is ample with respect to research and administrative prospective. Internship is provided with 12 months in rotational basis on majority of the department ranging from yoga and allopathic medicine in gynaecology department, from various other reputed institute to other local out patient department. But please don't ask for stipend, we were not paid any stipend.

College Events

4.5

International day of yoga, Privileged to host this as an integral part of college. Hosting and conducting yoga at various district of Karnataka for the same day. Conduct various intercollege activity such as sports competition and cultural events.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any loans for study, but yes since this course is recognised by the government and hence the loan gets sanctioned easily. And can be availed through any bank of choice. The returns of bank loan is also not much complicated. Henceforth the idea of loans.

Campus Life

3.5

There are many extracurricular activities I personally attended many events in my college life, such as inter-state yoga competition and cultural events, our campus hosts cricket tournament, etc. We do have modern modern labs to cater to physiology and anatomy along with biochemistry. Every year we have, annual day celebration along with convocation and fresher days.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes obviously the hostel is an integral part of the college, and we have a great memories of the same, as the bonds are really good and well established with the junior and seniors. We had a badminton court and were provided with veg only food 3 times a day.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful as they guide for our careers and help in building the career as-well. They are caring and we have our own alumni association called INYGMA, where collectively we fight for all the injustice, issues and difficulty we face during our careers that gets solved and also helps in making decisions and policies implementation at large scale.

Admission

1st pass your 12 grade followed by which you can give a Common Entrance Test (CET), following which you can based on the ranking will fetch a seat in the college, this is an entry through a government entity, or else with an extra amount can avail a seat through management. Thus reducing the fees structure, and availing the seat in there.

Faculty

4.5

It's adequate and they are quiet impressive with their knowledge with the same is quiet good. All faculty in modern medicine is into allopathic practice. And all the traditional therapies are handled by traditional practioners.

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.
