Rajat Suresh Kurve's Review On Priyadarshini College Of Engineering - [PCE], Nagpur

The college is good/average as per me. It's not one of the great colleges but certainly better than most of the college's located in our city. It's developing day by day and it should focus on Developing the students for industrial use and must provide them higher chances of campus placement.

The curriculum is decided by the Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The exam is conducted in each semester. In each semester students have to study 5-6 theory subject and 3-4 practical subjects.

The placement and job opportunity are not 100% only few students manage to get the placement in campus. Yes the college provides the internship under the govt program Internshala. The Student's are asked to choose from different types of internships and then they give the approval letter for it.

Many events are celebrated in college throughout the year including all the major festivals. Various events to showcase the talent and skills are organised in each department. Also we have our annual function Ashvamedh on 2nd month of every year.

The fee structure is a bit expensive for the students belonging to normal middle-class families. For general category students it is more than 1 lakhs per year with slight variations according to the branches. OBC students have to pay half of the total fees while the SC students are charged with the nominal fees of ?1500-2000.

The college itself does not provide you any kind of scholarships but their are several scholarships provided by the government for the student such as EBC, TFWS, Shahu Maharaj shishyavrutti yojna etc from which the students get benefited.

We have all kinds of labs required for our academics available in your college. The college conducts various extracurricular activities for students such as site visits, competitions, sports events and also dancing and singing competitions.

Personally don't know much about the alumni but the seniors are all generous and helpful. They always give us useful advice whenever required and also help us with our projects. We all have good relation and conversation with our seniors.

Through CAP Rounds of DTE Maharashtra which is conducted in three different rounds. I got the admission in first round itself.The admission process is centralised and controlled by Maharashtra State board of technical education.

The faculty members are all experienced ones and having PhD from reputed Universities. The number of faculty membes are sufficient for each department and they focus on not only to complete the syllabus but also give useful knowledge from out of the syllabus.
