As such, college is very good if you want to have research on something. College will provide everything and fund for everything related to research. But one must be aware of placements. Although college tries to provide good placements, they are not very good.

Since it is an IIT, the placement are good as compared to other colleges. Still there are chances of improvement in it. Every summer, one can apply for internship through colleges. College provides ample options for research internship, at universities out of India. College also provide the stipend and it is enough to take out the expenses.

Feasible. There are also waivers for students with low parental income. If annual parental income is below ?1lakh, full tution fee waiver is given to student, and if the annual parental income is between ?1 lakh and ?5lakh, 66% tution fee waiver is given.

A tution fee waiver is provided by college. It is based on annual parental income. There are many scholarships and among them the top one is the Cargill scholarship. There are also the scholarships based on academic performance.

There are very good opportunities to develop new skills and college gives many chances to develop the extracurricular activities. There are many research labs and all of them are advanced. There is an inter IIT sports meet for which students are selected and students represent college in many other sports competitions. There are many grounds in the college.

It is very good as compared to any other college. The hostel rooms are very good, with quality furniture and it is frequently updated. The washrooms are also good and cleaned everyday. Rooms are also cleaned weekly. Besides all, unlimited laundry service is provided.

Since it's been only 10 years there are not many alumni. But ones who are settled in some universities or some companies are very helpful and they refer to the college students. Senior students are also very helpful and they help juniors with their struggles.

Clear the JEE advanced examination and then you can get the discipline according to your rank in JEE advanced examination. Before JEE advanced examination, one should clear JEE main examination and should have a score of 75% or more in respective 12th grade examination. Then among various IITs and branches, you can choose the one you find interesting and the one in which you have rank below cut-off rank.

Each and every faculty has cleared PhD. They are very qualified. There are instructors and then the teaching assistants. Instructor usually teaches the course content and teaching assistant is responsible for all the other works.
