ffcs is one of the best and the woorst part of the vit ap curriculum it all depends on the website fastness which rarely works we have A,B,C,D,E,F,G 1 and 2 slots for each 1 is the morning slots and 2 is the afternoons slots for each alphabet the curriculum is quite effiicient and prepares well for the inerviews and aptitude rounds for on campus jobs STS provides aptitude for all aptitude rounds ,to be more precise the aptitude taught is more difficult than the asked aptitude questions in job hunt improvement is required where the codes are kind of mugged up and they dont really teach real life applications and students are just told to learn it and write in the exam 2 mids,every mid conducted in the span of 1 month and sem is conducted after 1 month od 2nd mid the overall difficulty is moderate and grades are obtained based on the faculty and follows relative grading

the students usually become eligible to placements in 6th semester or before too depending the students skills and techniques mostly all the placements happen in 7th and 8th semester alot of companies visit our campus like hcl,lti mind tree,infosys,wipro,tcs,deolitte etc highest package as of 2026 is 96.26 lakh and the average is around 5-6 lakh around 70 percent students mostly get placed my plan is mostly to get placed on campus or try any off campus and work there for around 2 years then persue MBA

the total fee for 4 years will be 8 lakhs tuition fee: 2 lakhs per year (category 1) and 1 lakh increase for each category increase until category 5 my friends got in category 2 so they pay 3 lakhs per year toppers of andhra pradesh government college students (1 boy and 1 girl get free education excluding hostel fee) the tuition fee doesnt increse every year its constant

the best annual and technical fests include vitopia and vitaap( which is discontiued from 2025) vitopia is mostly help in the month February -march there ar alot of accessebility to books ,journals and newspapers which are updated daily and also few times they arrage book stalls from vijaywada for a day or two( recently star links stall is placed in central block) badminton,basketball,tennis,ping pong,hill climbing,gym,carroms,chess etcc are available whatsapp groups,instagram groups and discord groups are available you can just google it for the links many clubs are on campus like telugu club,google developers club,geeks for geeks,haluyu club,etcc they offer a relaxation to the student busy lifestyle in the campus

hostel facilities are really good ,they provide with a bed,table,chair and other essentials like bed ,bucket are on sale at the ground floor of hostel at the start of the year meal quality is okayish and cleanliness is moderate menu is changed every month and chicken is provided 4 times per week including curry,65 and biryani hostel counselling is opened after the tuition fee is paid and we're allowed to select the type of room we need (it ranges from 12 bed dormitary non ac to 2 bed apartment ac) price ranging from 120000 to 220000 respectively we just select the room needed and then the type of mess(veg,nin veg,special mess) and then pay for the confirmation of the hostel bed hostel is quite costly compared to average with a difference of 50000 compared to a nearby pg

i applied to srm,klu,gitam i got the confirmed admission from klu and gitam and also received 25 percent fee concession and i didn't attempt the srm entrance so it was out of the options klu and gitam are just spread across andhra pradesh so my cousin recommended vit only as it reputation is high across india and due to its curiculum and varios activites which it provided admission process: apply for viteee complete the exam view your rank after release apply for councelling fill your choices then view your admitted course and campus from your choices then pay the fee for the confirmed seat

there is a good faculty to student ratio around 1:50 the faculties mostly are so friendly and quite reachable ,they tend to help students who are interested in the subject and want to learn more the best faculty for me until the semesters i have completed will be mr vishnu,mr nagaraju they both are so supportive and are always ready to help students and dont discrmiminate students based on their knowledge on the subject my worst faculty was mr venkataraajam marka,mr prakash mr venkataraajam dont usually come to classses and always blame students for getting low marks which is not justified mr prakash doesnt know how to teach and just mumbles to himself but i can assure he does know alot of subject but just lack at expressing it there are 2 mids and 1 sem per each semester and mostly the mids are quite moderate and most scoring part of the whole system

favorite hangout spots: behind AB1,AB2,CB food street rock plaza just at the footpath of the roads benches infront of CB closing times: gym: there are seperate timings or slots for girls and boys each hostel block also has it but a lil too small and very crowded gym is mostly open 5-9am and also 5-8pm and also 24/7 with slots cafeteria: food street and rock plaza are open from 10 am to 8:30 pm rock plaza opens at 9am for breakfast no roaming around campus after 8:30 pm and hostel in time is 8:30 pm and attendance will be taken at 9:00pm night canteen will be available in respective hostel blocks from 10 pm to 12pm outside campus include places in vijaywada like verandah cafe,nicoli cafe,pvp,trendset etc students are not allowed to roam around at night but you can roam in friends room and not allowed outside
