Course Curriculum Overview

3

i would rate the curriculum 3.5 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The cirriculum includes strong foundational subjects as Data Structures, OOP, DBMS, Operating Systems, and core matghematics, which influenced my decision to choose this course the structured credit system, lab components, and elective options also provide fexibility to explore specific inerests like AI, data analytics or cloud computing.

Internships Opportunities

3

most people got internships thorugh placement cell, you can also get it through linked in, college provides intership oppurtunities. with good stipend, Roles offered typically include software developer intern, data analyst intern, web developer intern, cloud intern, testing intern and business analyst intern.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester companies include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, LTI Mindtree, Phonepe, Apple, and many good package offering companies for CSE and related branches the average package ranges between 4-6LPA while higher offers can go above 10 lpa depending on skills and role.

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined VIT-AP through Andhra Pradesh EAPCET merit program. Based on rank, students are allotted seats in colleges. The state govt pays the college fees, which was 75,000 in 2022 and is about 1,05,000 in 2026 VITEEE is the main entry for most students. Through this route, the starting fee ranges from 2,00,000 to 5,00,000 based on rank category. Hostel fees vary based on room type and mess options.

Campus Life

4

Overall campus life is active, acadimically focused the annual culture fest and technical fest are usually conducted once a year, generally in the second semester these events include technical competitons, workshops, cultural performances and sprt activities, giving students exposure beyound academics.

Hostel Facilities

4

rooms are avilable in different sharing options 2,3 or 4, 6, 12, 15 and 3 menu options veg, non-veg, special and hostel also provided with laundry, and fees vary depending on room types AC/non-AC preference, ranging from 1,20,000 to 2,00,000 each room generally includes a cot, study table, chair, cupboard and good wi-fi clanliness is maintained well

Admission

i chose this college primarily because of a balance between cost, brand value, and placement opportunities. i had applied to a few other private universities and state colleges through EAPCET but at that point of time vit was the best in terms of campus size, brand value, and i can get into this kind of a college through a free seat.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is moderate but in some core subjects class size are large, which limits individual attention. however many professors are approachable during office hours and responsive through email. the relatioship largly depends on the initiative take by the student. overall the system rewards consistent effort more than last-minute cramming.

Night Life

4

night life around the campus is good, fun. public areas close close by 8:30, cafeteria, hostel gym almost everything closes at 8:30 but there will be night canteens in hostels from 10:30 to 12:00 , hostel intime is generlly strict students are expected to return before the deadline unless special perission is given.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good almost 200+ companies visited and with very big product based start-ups also viisted and large MNC'S such as infosys, tcs, cognizant, LTM recruited over 1000+ students combinedly. Big product based companies such as zomato, microsoft, amazon, flipkart, swiggy, myntra, google, hp, wells fargo, adobe, oracle , delloite recruit on good numbers. the average packages will be varying from year to year. this year the average package improved and it is nearly 6-7 lpa. Highest package offered was 80+ lpa by a company balkanID follwed by zomato 56lpa. Almost 90% students get placed into full time offers and internships. The only drawback id cgpa will be main criteria for shotlisting so good cgpa i.e 9.00+ will give you a good opputunity to crack product based companies.

Placements at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University are good, with top IT companies offering roles in software and core sectors. Many students get internships that convert into full-time jobs. Those not placed focus on higher studies, certifications, or off-campus opportunities to improve employability.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum at VIT-AP University as relevant and fairly comprehensive. Core subjects and electives influenced my choice. It builds basics for jobs and higher studies, but needs more practical projects. Exams are frequent (CATs and FAT) with moderate difficulty.

i would say worst , all the courses which are teached in span of 4 years are all outdated topics, which is no use in our current trends, if you wanna compete we have to learn on our own by some external source.
