Remarks

Good infrastructure and help to students to improve their skills and academics. also they provide good transportation to students.some staffs not giving their internal marks to the students it would chance to fail the University exams

Course Curriculum Overview

Good.but the examination structure and valuation are am not satisfied.some time they fail the paper but they wrote correctly some valuaters not values that examination papers correctly then students fail that paper.

Placement Experience

Yes.they conduct many placement under placement cell in our college.our placement cell is good and they try to maximum students to placed in good and reputed companies.also help to how to attend interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Pros and consequences of engineering colleges

The eligibility of these courses is just a degree with a maths base or computer base and even any degree with maths can join these courses. An entrance exam is conducted called LBS and it should be written for merit admission. The application for the entrance exam is available by May, or June and the examination with fall in July. The exam is over 100multiple choice which covers over maths, computer, general knowledge and English. And application fees of 800is needed for general.
