Review of CMS Dibrugarh University by its alumni

No negative remark only I can give positive remark about Dibrugarh University and Centre for Management Studies.I miss this place and the 2 years I spent there.it helped me shape as a better individual today in life

Course curriculum is well updated from time to time to meet industry standards. Exams are held every semester wise and apart from externals there are numerous internal exams and projects and group presentation which you need to clear

Centre has a specialised placement cell which caters to all placement and internship matters. Most reputed companies visit for placement. Well myself got into placement into Bharti Airtel from college campus. Also the cell arranges for internship in different organisations. I joined a regional bank of my state for internship

There is one annual management fest held every year where various management events are held and many reputed industry professionals and students from different colleges come to participate.The industry persons comes to visit the fest as key note speaker

Fee structure is the cheapest among all state university's in Assamm I completed the entire MBA course for just 1 lakh which no other college offers anywhere such a quality education. Also you get to stay in university environment and interact with amby students and professors

I don't think scholarship is required for this course since the entire 2year course including hostel can be availed within 2 lakhs. Yet the university campus has a Punjab National Bank within its premise where one can easily avail student loan

Being a part of Dibrugarh University the centre takes part in annual varsity week where you get a chance to interact and compete in various cultural sports activities with around 4000 students of various departments of the university. The centre also has a dedicated computer lab with all updated required software's and a library to cater to all book needs.

The centre has an exclusive dedicated hostel and each rooms has all good facilities.All rooms are single occupied to give you proper privacy and also time to study.It has also a mess which is run by students itself

Yes I found seniors very helpful.Never felt them as seniors and always felt like friends and brother or sister.And also the centre organises every year an alumni meet where alumins from various batches comes up for a day gathering

Had to take an entrance exam and was then called for a round of group discussion and personal interview. Entrance exam is based on MAT pattern. Also the university takes students from MAT and CAT. Upon clearing you need to glear both GD and PI to get admission

Good well qualified and vastly experienced faculty in respective specialisation field.All faculties are post graduates and now it has become mandated to do either PhD or clear NET/SLET to be able to continue as professor
