Likes

I liked the book bank feature also getting two books from library per student also. there was good canteen space and different societies for different interests.
During covid the online teaching system was helpful also the exams portal was great. There was a basketball court and good enough garden space.

Dislikes

Course material needs to be updated as it had not been updated since 18 years while i was studying there also the computer labs were not maintained. Most teachers used ppts for teaching and some didnt teach the course that was going to be in the exam
Boys to girls ratio was 5:1. Not much support was provided for the career advancements. The infrastructure should have been better. Not much placements were arranged.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was the most closest to the BTech course and I had taken commerece and was eliglibe for this course and had interest in Computer Science so I choose this course as I liked the subjects and societies.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for first year was around 90000. Second year it was 85000. Last year it was around 80000. For book bank it was 5000, they let you have books for the semester and when semester is done the books are taken back and books for the new semester are given also in the end of the course the 5000 are returned after almost one year. At the time of the admission fee for id card is 3000. No lab fees.

Campus Life

I didnt had much chance to live the campus life as the covid was spread and it was shifted to complete online setup and it was fine but i missed most of my college time in covid so cant say much about it

Admission

It was the 2nd top college in the BCA course, I choose this as I was able to be selected in this and it was close to my home. I was also selected in the Jims in rohini but i chose this over that college.

Faculty

Faculty ratio was fine, some of the faculty members were open to approchable some werent. Some of the best faculties were Dr. M.Bala, Dr. Kanta, Dr. Pooja The exams were morderrate they werent too hard or difficult. If you paid attention in classes and read the notes it was easy in exams. Some students that didnt attend the exams of failed to submit any assigmnets were failed in exams but they were given another chance to get better grades. The course curriculum was okay.

Night Life

No late night activites, the college closed after 6 pm mostly and it didnt had any gym or public area or any hostel either. There was a good canteen with many eating options and that was the only good public area.

EXCELLENT COLLEGE, LOVED IT.

Placement Experience:

Placement was one of the strongest factor of Shikshapeeth College as more than 90% studnents got placement from my batch and lot of students got multiple placement offers, however, I got 5 placement offers from different IT companies and the best part was i earned my 5th & 6th Semester Fees during my study.

A disciplined college with average exposure and honest reality.

Placement Experience:

Placement at jims vk2 are average and not very strong, especially for BCA. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Compinies and offer Some small it companies , startup,and service based firms visit the campus. roles are Technical support, junior developer, and so on. Package details Highest package: Around average level, nothing exceptional. Average package: Entry level salary , suitable only for freshers. College does not officially publish detailed placement stats . placement percentage : only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. mostly students look for off campus placements. Employability and my plans after completing my bca i go gor off campus placements.

The specific aspects is that they have DSA that the nowadays the most important subject for CS 60% of the subjects are practical based and that provides you real World skills you should know Some areas that should be improved are they should include MERN stack and some important tools like power bi and AWS There is no issue in timming.

VIPS Delhi is best for learning!

Admission are through both the entrance be it CLAT or IPU as typically it's a free hot central for students who have decent rank in both the entrance. VIPS is the most special law college of Delhi!

GGSIPU all the colleges I checked out and without a debate Vivekanand School of Legal Studies wins it hands down. Admission through CLAT scores and even IPU entrance scores are accepted. Admission for BBA LLB are though GGS and IPU university exams as that is how everyone of us gets admission.
