College life outside university ft. lu student

Speaking about comprehensive and relevence , i would say its courses and syllabus are better than aktu but not good as top institutions. You can't expect more from it as btech started in 2017 so even now few things are getting better time to time here core branches have some very old and experienced faculty member including lab assistants to professors , there are also some country side bumkins in our college by some sources but ignore them as they are good for nothing . Here improvement can be done in tech courses like ai core and ece as they are not at level of present technology era and having some good labs which can imitate industry level things .

Intership opportunity here is not much better than placemwnt but there are companies which comes for taking students on intership , last year there were several students who got internsgup from Microsoft and other named firms as there is assessment for every student to do internships for 3 months in there last year and 1 month on there 2 and 3 year . There are also final project for btech students , teacher will also help in building one for you but that will be limited to you by giving you idea and solving some difficulties.

Placement seen here , not very good as companies comes here are mostly bulk hiring or for core branches hiring as they tend to get job frequently while other like oura and tech have chances if grid properly , post corona there is decreasing tech jobs as world again come to its original pace so getting placed is more and more harder for tech students due to intense competition also. Here mostly or more than 70 percent get placed who sits for placements as for high paying offer it depends on own skill , while mostly from 6 th semester placement strats and as for not placing or opting out for placements means ones should be ready for gate or any research field as there are not more options for us but as an engineer you could do anything in your life

There is scholarship but fee is still high for college . NOTE:-Lu provides only Self finnaced courses in btech UP scholarship comes every year which student have to fill once and then renew it every year .

Describing annual and tech fest is like searching horn in this campus as it has officially only two or three fest and also there same nilumbers of tech fest in this college annual fest begins in November or December not by faculty of engineering and technology but my law faculty which is oldest and most famous also. There is sports fest also which are quite good w.r.t other fest. While other groups are also active in college like coding club , robotics club etc .even Some political groups are also active which was suprising for me when i first entered the college.

For taking admission in this college you have to give jee mains for tech courses ,there are also some sits which are allotted by university or without jee mains , personally i have entered here by giving jee mains by resistering in aktu or named uptu before it had taked admission by itself in lockdown but afyrr that 1 year it started taking admission again by aktu . I had applied for iet knit biet lu and mmmut gorakhpur also i had got sits in all but in iet i didn't got what i wanted and other tahan that knit and biet have not appropriate location for tech colleges here in lucknow there are tenders passed for it hub or ai hub near sitapur road semiconductor firm will also built here in comming years , while i also got admission in mmmut gkp but at that time my father didn't agree with me on that college so i have to choose this one .

Here faculty are supportive and will give there 100 if you have sprit to have the knowledge ,there are teachers who will spoonfeed you like school teachers but some will not give you that treatment but mostly will not bother you if you are not offensive to them . Exams are conducted semester wise as i have told session are short especially odd onse which i dont like but when you get longer holidays then you will know why these things are boon disguises as curse . If there will any friends in aktu affiliated college friend he will tell you story of holiday and long semesters . Exams are easy to moderate , as there will 2 or 3 subjects which are difficult while all are easy and thats it.

No there is nothing like interview and written test for taking admission in lu . You just have enough percentile to enter and document that are said to given to authority and you can go take classes from university day 1..

Here in lucknow night life is active in gomti nagar side old lucknow area like clock tower even near college there are shops which are operating all night while our university is surrounded by resisdential area so not many vendors arw operated throughout night mostly shut down in 11 pm so you have to travel to other side of city for enjoing night life while gyms and cafe are plenty in this rwgion as students often starts worring about there health in this age . For hangout studenta should go to clock tower , gomti nagar . NOTE:-You can even viait your university in night as it is open university unless yiu atd not a hosteller.As hostellers entry for boys is 10 pm and for girls it is 7 to 8 pm depending upon there year as senior girls can enter even at 8 30 in some part of winter while as for security of hostels they are top notch you can't just go for night out in mid night unless or until you have given bribe to watchmen on main gate .
