i like positive environment in our college they support for cultural events
they also support for the hackathons and they take us for the company visits
they also support the nss activities and extracurricular activities

Dislikes

there was a less facilities in our college
the placements opportnities were low as it was government college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in our quite relevate and covers all the basic as welll as the advance topics that are needed for enginerring.one of the main reason that i chose this course was because the syllabus is well structured as the VTU university standards ,and it provides more opportunities

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 33800 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students have gott opportunities in Parvam ConsulTech PvT LTD,they offer software development Nd project based learning ,Pentagon Space and Tap Academy ,also conduct internship programs,focused on Java,Python,web development

Fees and Financial Aid

i paid 33800 in the first year and 5400 as exam fees for 2 sem and as per the remaining 3 year i paid 27000 and 3400 fees for exam fees and 1200 for convocation fees in the last year and no more extra fees are collected

Campus Life

Campus life at GECH is lively and balanced with academics and activities .The college hosts cultural fest and Technical fest .The library provides a good collection of books and journals and classrooms .The NSS unit,guided by Thimmesh sir ,plays a major role through social service camps

Admission

i chose this college ,mainly because it is a reputed government institution under VTU and offers quality education at an affordable fee. Compared to private colleges,,the cost here is very less and the teaching standards and facilities are good .The college also has a peaceful campus environments and well-qualified faculty,which made it a better choice for me. i also applied to MCE ,Hassan but the fees was there was pretty high ,so i chose this college

Faculty

the overall faculty to student relationship was goodv,they help us when we ask the doubts or any other advise about what domain we have to choose and they also support the extracurricular activities and any cultural activities

Night Life

The nightlife of GECH is generally calm and safe since the campus is located a bit away from the city's busy areas. Hostel timings are very strict,we have to get in within the 6:00 PM ,some students visit the Gorur Dam or Hasanamba Temple area

Course Curriculam and The Time table is Excellent the students Won't feel it as a Burden and The Teaching levels too good and the Exams timing Will 3 hours For the Externals every semester will take time upto 3 months and In between they will Conduct totally 3 Internals for each Sem and 1 external After completion of the Internals And the Student Will be promoted For the Next semester only if he score Passing Percentage Marks not only in Externals also In Internals

The college life

Placement Experience:

Our college provides very less campus placement opportunities. Only few students are getting placed. The maximum package is around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Only 20 to 30 students are gettting campus placement with high cgpa and other skills. Other students are not getting placement oppurtunities at all.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5 semester becomes eligible for campus placement and intership . Almost 200+ companies visited our college and the number goes on increasing. One of the major companies are :- Google , Adobe , Continental, TCS , Amazon , Meesho etc.. The highest package offered is 40 lpa by the company named meesho The percentage of students getting placed depends on the branch he is . But on an average about 85 % of the students gets placed. My plans after getting degree is to pursue higher education in abroad

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %

Good college with low fees structure.

As i got this college through KCET, i dont want to loose government college in the sake of fees, so i couldn't cancel my opertunity to admit this college. I got colleges in Banglore, but i was stepping back because of high fees, now i m satisfied by good fees and good branch. The KCET eligible students can get admission here....Read More

I have paid 500 for this exam and applied through online and it was KCET Entrance Exam and I got 25602 ranking. I have no reservation benefits. Exam was conducted through kea and 60mins time for a subject. I felt difficulty in physics and mathematics because of lack in time management...Read More
