IMT is one of the best and most underrated college for MBA in India. The students and faculty are very good. Facilities and Infrastructure provided by college is amazing. Getting into IMT was best decision of my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good. Our college takes regular feedback from industry and students and develops curriculum on basis of feedback. It covers almost every subject from marketing to operation to OB to finance.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are quite good in our college. Stipend range from 10k to 200k. Most of the renowned companies like Google, Deloitte, DE Shaw, Tata, etc come to our college for placement.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college. Almost 4-5 every month. Some of the major events are : Passion - We have annual fest called Passion every year in our college in which many students from several MBA college participates. Fresher's Party - We have fresher's party every year to welcome the fresher's to college. Chakravyuh - It is inter college fest of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is around 17-18 Lac including hostel fees and mess fees, It is feasible as placements are good giving good ROI and mess and hostel facility are amazing. Faculties are also one of the best justifying the fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
“Late Shri Mahendra Nath ji Memorial Scholarship” (Merit cum Means basis) to the selected students on the basis of academic performance and family income. It is given every year year to meritorious students.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are amazing. We have basketball court, football ground, cricket pitch, badminton court, table tennis, gym in our college. College committees also conduct several activities like yoga, trekking, marathon, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facilities are one of the best. The room are all centralised air conditioned. We also have nescafe and canteen in our hostel which are open 24*7. Security guard and maintenance people are there in hostel around the clock.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful. There is an Alumni Association which helps and guides students in career related matters. The Alumni of IMT are placed at very senior positions in most of the companies making good placement opportunities in college.
Admission
First we have to give CAT exam which is a national level exam for MBA colleges. IMT shortlist students based on academic background and CAT score. It only shortlist students with more than 90% Percentile in CAT. After shortlisted, there are two rounds, Group Exercise and Personal Interview. You get selected on basis of your performance in GE and PI, CAT score and Academic Background.
Faculty
The faculty are one of the best in India. College regularly takes feedback from students regarding course and faculty to decide future course of action. Faculties are very experienced and fellow of elite MBA and engineering college of India
