Course Curriculum Overview

i wanted to take bcom hons as in ipu its of 3 years as ckmpared to du . and this course is well known . it helps in getting job in financial sector or marketing sector easily exams timings are of 3 hours for external exams and 1hr 30 min for internal

Internships Opportunities

johson company , aspire consultants and many more companies came for providing internships with stipends but if you do sale of thier products then only you will get stipends , we have to make project related to our internship

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees was 105000 and in 2026 its increased nearly 30k , its cheaper comparatively to other IPU .The staff is good except 1 muslim teacher so called HOD azjad usmani , always supporting his caste students

Campus Life

there are many events held in ipu and every festival is celebrated , in DBIT the library is empty there are very less book , all classrooms have ACs and smart screen . there are many sports like cricket football arm wrestling etc

Admission

i had applied in various college from CET exam but my name appeared at DBIT clg only in the merit list , obviously other clg rejected because of less marks in CET exam. admission process is easy , you need to fill a form and then pay the fee

Faculty

faculty to student in one class is 1:60 , students have all the facilities except going out of college . There are good faculty like bhanuj sir , shubham sir , bhaswatee maam but there is Asjad Usmani who is very discriminatory person he only supports his caste students , and about exam - the exams are easy according to me

Night Life

as i mentioned in this clg student can only go out after 3pm , this rule is shit , there canteen is worst and i personally don't know places to roam around this campus there is no hostel in this clg and campus timings are 9-3 , which is unacceptable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

A nice experience

The admission process of the college was easy and very accessible for the students who were directly transferred or referred from the same Don Bosco schools or colleges or institutions. However, if you had average marks in any subjects there were no obstacles standing ahead of you. Before admission, you should obtain the admission form of the required college, and here you can get it in the fee counter section or through the reception and also through the official website of the institution. After you have filled the form submit it in the reception or the fee counter. After meeting the criteria of the minimum percentage of 55% in every subject you will be called for an observation test. After which the basic interview with the headmaster would take place.
