Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers core subjects well and includes practical work, which influenced my choice of this course. It prepares students fairly for real-world applications, though some topics are outdated and need industry-relevant updated. Teaching methods could be more interactive with real case studies. Exams are held twice a year with a mid-term in between; difficulty is moderate, but a few papers can be tricky.
Placement Experience
The Placement is avarage , student become eleigible for campus placements in their 7th semester. In the 2023 batch, 45+ companies visited and arround 194 offers were made out of 344 registered students - that's about 56% placement rate. The heighest package was around 7.4 LPA , with an average of roughly 3 LPAA . Recruitrs included names like Infosys, TCS, HDFC Bank, and Byjus. After graduation , I plan to leverages these placement to start my career and build experience for heigher roles.

Campus Life
Campus life at AITM Varanasi is lively, with events like the annual cultural fest "AAROHAN" in march and the technical fest "TECHNOVATIION" in october. The library is well-stocked with wide range of books , journals and e-resources. Classroom have projectors, smart boards, and good seating. Sports facilities include cricket, football, badminton, and indoor games. Various student clubs, organize workspace and activities, helping students improve skills and social connections.
Admission
I applied to a few other colleges but got confirmed admission here and one more institute. I choose this college because it's in my city , saving travel and hostel costs, and has a decent reputation for my course. the admission process here is very simple- eligibility was 12 pass with required subjects and they accept UPTU and other course related exams and also direct admission is available . Overall, the process was smooth and quick.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is decent, and some teacher ae approachable and helpfull. I think Prof. Gaurav Sir for clear teaching and prof. Preeti ma'am for project guidance . A few others like Prof Manish sir lacked interaction and just read from slides. The course structure is okay but some topics feel outdated . We have 8 semester exams difficulty is moderate. Most pass, but some fail due to tough marking and syllabus in few subjects . Marking is fair overall, covering both theory and practicals.
Night Life
Nightlife around AITM varanasi, located near Sarnath, is calm and safe. The cafeteria closes by 6 PM and the library by 7PM . Hostel in time is 9 PM for girls and 10PM for boys, with campus gate closing soon after. Inside, students relax at canteen or lawns. Outside, popular hangouts include Sarnath's tea stalls, local eateries, nearby cafes. Students often enjoy evening walks , streat foods, or group chats, making the peacefull surroundings a nice break after classes
