Best college in commerce stream

I am highly thankful that i got admission in this college and got an opportunity to learn and live this important phase of academic carrier in one of the best college of north east. The entire five years in the college were best and fruitful to great extent and best foundation for my future career

The course curriculam in higher secondary is per AHSEC and in graduation level is as per Gauhati University . In HS there are two years. In first year there is one pre exam test and final exam , both conducted by college, in second year , there is one pre exam and then final exam conducted by ahsec. In graduation level, the entire course is as per Gauhati University, so there are 2 semesters in every year, sothere are altogether 6 semesters in 3 years of graduation.

In the last year of graduation many companies like TCS, ICICI visits the college and conducts placement drive, many students got placed before completing graduation , this is the great initiative by the college authorities now even a graduate need not hace to search for jobs they are placed from the college itself

Like every college, our college also celebrates number of events Freshman social for freshers where freshers are introduced to the college Foundation day of college Teachers Day in which the senior teachers are awarded for their contribution Sports week/College week

The fee structure is little expensive as it is semi governmental college but can be affordable. The H. S fees ranges in between 15000 to 18000 The B. Com fees ranges from 12000 to 15000. There are also other graduation course offered by our college like bba, bca, mcom

As i have not availed any scholarships from the college so i don't have any depth knowledge of the whole process. But i have heard from some of my friends that college do waive off entire fees of the students from economically backward class and provide them with study essentials free of cost

The college conducts many ecents like inter college singing competition, quiz competition, cricket tournaments and many more. The college also have a library and laboratory so the students can also take advantage of the same

There is no hostel in college. If one wants to stay in hostel then there are many hostels new college for both boys and girls students. The hostels near college are affordable and safe and are at walking distance from college

Senior students of the college are advised to behave properly with their juniors and to help the freshers to know the rules and regulations of the college . The seniors also helps the juniors in their studies by helping in them in choosing elective subjects

I filled up the form and got admission on the merit basis. The admission process starts with the name calling of the students on the day of admission who are eligible to get admission in the institute. Then after verification of the documents by the authorities, the students are directed towards payment counter. After making payment the students are given admission receipt with roll no. And section and also the uniform receipt. After collecting all the receipts, the students may collect uniform from uniform counter , after all these process you are done with admission .

The most important and best part is the faculty of the college. Each and every teachers are very much helpful towards the students from the very first year. They also conduct special classes before exams and provide books from library
