DRNGPIT is an amazing college!!

AI&DS has now 600+ studnets while when we took admission it was just 300. So the demand has increased and our course too have gotten much better and it is betting more and more better as well with new labs and facilities coming in.

Our training ends by 6th semester as from August in the 7th semester our placements start because by end of 7th semester college make sure that a majority of students are placed and those who are left are placed later in February in the final placements round.

At DR. NGPIT the best thing is that all government schemes for scholarship are applicable even though we are an autonomous college. Hence, those students gets 50% outright scholarship and our fees is 60000 but they have to pay just 30000. Sad reality is that hostel fees has to be paid full which is 1.05 lakhs a year.

Kanam and Henosis are two fests but besides that too we have various events and fests of our department and we are allowed to join other departments fests as well. Our campus has two colleges and Arts & Science college is also next door for us as D&E block are theirs.

Hostels are 3-4 mins walk as it is located at 300m from the campus. The boys hostels are in the same campus but girls hostels aren't. I stay in 3 seater AC rooms as we have single and three seater rooms options at best.

I didn't applied much as I was certain on few things and one of those is that Tamil Nadu is the place where I want to study and Chennai being too advanced for my liking I ended up taking admission here through TNEA counselling.

Our faculties are IIT Madras and IIT Hyderabad passouts and they have studied not just general AI but informative AI too. So, it's good that we are getting opportunity to learn from the best of the best. Exams difficulty set by them isn't tough in internals but for main exams it's the Anna University that sets the papers for us which are difficult.

Location is what makes our college beautiful as it is in the middle of the city and also a beautiful place for sight seeing. Our campus has most of the facilities like two canteens and one food stall and also we have amazing grounds in the campus so we hardly steps out.
