DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Likes

I have seen the best faculties ever as they didn't just guided us on subjects but on life takes as well.
Beautiful campus and best part is girls hostels are off campus.
Hostle wardens are very supportive and little here and there they manages with the students.

Dislikes

6 hours classes are normal but at our college it were for 8 hours more every odd day.

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

DRNGPIT is combination of studies and entertainment!!

Likes

Our campus has 4 blocks assigned for engineering and all are amazing.
Our placements are truly goatee as Messi of football as conversion ratio is quite high.
No miscommunication with faculties as they understand us so well.

Dislikes

Some construction is going on and some upgradation is still required for sure in the facilities.

At our college students get placed during the 7th semester as from August to December companies keep coming and also do they give us jobs based on roles that they have and what we want. Either way it's a win win for students only because getting placed through campus in top corporate houses is a novelty.

DR. NGPIT walks the talk

Likes

Our placement cell has been able to add around 50-60 companies more sonde last year.
Microsoft, Deloitte and likewise various MNCs are now partner with DR. NGPIT and that's a huge victory for us.
Our development at our college happens through societies as we have numbers of societies that helped in scaling personal highs.

Dislikes

I hate the uniform that we have been given as it is forget about modern day kind, it's actually a primitive one.

I am in my final year and this is also our placement year. So IT engineering branch doesn't have placements as good as CSE or AI&DS but still we have a placement percentage of over 80%. Avarage package of our branch is currently 6 lakhs around.

DR. NGPIT is red hot!!

Likes

Among all the technical branches of the college, we are the least crowded one.
Dur to less crowd we get far more attention than the CSE branch students or for that matter AI&DS students.
Course is tough as we have an extra subject every semester.

Dislikes

Boys hostels in on campus whole girls hostels are off campus.

IT companies are the ones where techies are required and therefore we are inked by tech companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra and many more. Highest package so far for IT engineers from our college is of 20 LPA.

DR. NGPIT is too good a college!!

I like hostel Life more as college is strict and even though hostel too is but we still get enough to enjoy at hostels.
We at DR.NGPIT are developed at the highest level as our college gives us enough to be enjoying our college life with studies and being a part of extra curricular activities as well.
Infrastructure is top quality as hostels and labs have been upgraded two years back.

Dislikes

One thing which I hated the most is our hostel timings as we leave from college at 4 pm but has to be back at hostels by 6.30 pm.

DRNGPIT is an amazing college!!

Likes

Hostels are off campus but still just 300metres from the mail campus.
Hostel infrastructure too is quite good as it is a prominent college and is located on a prominent location.
Lovely college as we have arts college too at our campus so it becomes really easy for us to bring some freshness at the campus.

Dislikes

Hostels are to be dealt with strict as post 10 pm our phones too has to be on silent mode.

Our training ends by 6th semester as from August in the 7th semester our placements start because by end of 7th semester college make sure that a majority of students are placed and those who are left are placed later in February in the final placements round.

DR. NGPIT is an authoritative college!!

Likes

Infrastructure as development has happened and the entire lab structure have been changed.
All the system's in our labs are I7 and all all the latest tools which can make our college look something else.
Faculties are educators and have done PhD in the field they teach us.

Dislikes

Very poor or rather awful dress code as even the colour sucks.

In the second last year, training begins and in the last year time to put that training into exercise. Ever since the placement ratio has crossed over 90% for AIDS it has given us a security as now the question is that at what package will we be signed.

Our college is most affordable autonomous engineering college..

Likes

Definitely the beautiful location as unlike another colleges which are way off the main campus ours is in the middle of the city.
Well our course is such that all the traits which are related to make us learn advanced AI are taught at our college.
Placements average which was 4 LPA 2 years back has increased by 50% all of a sudden as it is now 6 LPA.

Dislikes

College is good in everything but sadly the Internships part as it has become mandatory now but still we don't get any internship opportunities.

Infosys certainly is one corporate on which our college banks as around 1/3rs students every year are hired by them. Over 50+ companies visited last year and average placements were of 6 lakhs or so and highest placements were of 20 lakhs around.

DRNGPIT is happening autonomous college!!

College is located in the middle of the city.
Two of the prominent theatres of Coimbatore which are the Imax and also the Broadway are very close to our campus.
So many food joints just outside the college that I hardly eat at mess to be honest.

Dislikes

Dress is very old age type as atleast trousers should have been included.

This semester of mine is when inhage become eligible for placements. I am into my 7th semester and we all get to sit for placements in two months from now. Infy, Tata Elexi and Microsoft are some of the biggest names that comes here for placements.

DRNGPIT from my perspective!!

DRNGPIT has a huge land and is in the midst of the city.
Our course is advanced as any and that's why so many companies come for placements.
Nearly 8-10 labs have been setup by the industry and they themselves come and teach us too.

Dislikes

Too strict like hostels are way too much and for girls it's even stricter.

Deloitte, Microsoft, PwC, Infosys and there are many new age companies as Chennai and Coimbatore are IT hubs. AI setup is such these days that firstly so less crowd at our college and therefore 93% placements happened last year. Thus ratio wise we stand better than most engineering colleges in India.
