DRNGPIT from my perspective!!

AI is indeed the future and to be future ready one has to master AI. Also from Python to C++, almost all languages are taught to us. Python features with Claude AI and all are a part of our course and how this can simplify the toughest of tasks is what our college teaches us in our course.

Deloitte, Microsoft, PwC, Infosys and there are many new age companies as Chennai and Coimbatore are IT hubs. AI setup is such these days that firstly so less crowd at our college and therefore 93% placements happened last year. Thus ratio wise we stand better than most engineering colleges in India.

DRNGPIT is Coimbatore lifeline for sure as it is arguably the top engineering college of our city. Yearly fees is 120k but scholarships for students with hardships and all is provided. As per government guidance scholarship for SC/ST students is provided and a special 30% scholarship to students whose parents were Covid 19 warriors.

Campus is good and i don't think we should be comparing it with campuses that are in 100s of acres. We have few more colleges inside and each college have their own building. Admin and recreation buildings are also there so that makes a total of 7 buildings in our campus. Since Tamil Nadu being the oldest language of the world, we have our fest Kanam which promotes our language too.

Hostels are just 2 and each with a capacity of some 100 students. Thus less students means not overcrowded and also we don't have to bother about standing in the que for food. Hostel rooms and washrooms are cleaned with Phenyl and thus they are always in the best of conditions.

TNEA counselling which is mostly based on 12th score of JEE Mains Scores. The sad thing though is that we have not seats reserved for local students and therefore not many outsiders are a part of our college. To make it multi cultural campus I think college needs to make some more room for that.

Hardworking and want to make students like themselves is like their main agenda. Classes keep running from 9 to 4 and if somebody ask them for extra classes they will come after that too. So on dedication and their determination they are needless to say probably the best.

I am into sports and since our college lacks a proper football ground we have a turf close to our college. Not just indoor Football Turf but a Cricket Turf is also there. It's lovely to be a hanging around with friends in Smart Bazaar of Coimbatore as it is nearby. For cravings though I mostly prefer Yellow Hut.
