What Students Say

Likes

Exams are easy to score and made way for students.
We get good help from our hod’s and faculties for respected subjects.
Canteen is hygienic and affordable. Food quality is good.

Dislikes

Not all faculties but some of them needs to be changed. Teaching method should be checked.
I felt a very little location based discrimination among teachers
Campus is not that big and beautiful. Chemistry lab is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not created by the college but the university it is affiliated to which is vtu. The curriculum is easy to study with 2 mini projects and 1 final year project which will give students practical experience and help students to become industry ready.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are 3 projects including 2 mini projects and 1 final year project. Mentors among teachers are assigned to help us do the projects. We can ask our mentors for help regarding projects . Presentation, Reports etc. internship is compulsory as per curriculum and it was provided from the campus itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid rs75000 per year. 25000 as admission fee in first year. From the second year they added rs4000 to our fee saying miscellaneous fee. So the course total came almost 400000. I belive this us very affordable considering the course.

Campus Life

There are events in our college like dj nights, sports tournaments, and other competitions. There are also game tournaments. Sports club is active in the college and works for the improvement of sports facilities.

Admission

I tried SEA college of engineering in Bangalore and the seat was filled by then. But after joining this college i got to know that the certificate in our college is more valuable than sea college of engineering.

Faculty

Faculties are friendly with the students. Not too strict or harsh. Very helpful to doubt's. Will help through WhatsApp if any queries. There is still 1 or 2 faculties whose teaching quality is very bad. It was more in the first year but the college changed the faculties and improved teaching quality by my second year. I believe they will look into this issue.

Night Life

There was "cafe coffee day" inside the campus but closed now. Canteen is hygienic and affordable. There's no nightlife in campus or in 1.5 km around the campus. But the Sahakara nagar city is just 1.5-2km away.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

in (2008 -2012) i took government seat after 3rd round, my CET rank was 35290. i dont have any choice i didn't get rejection from other college admission process in two steps 1) Government seats (through K CET exam) 2) management Quota PCMB minimum 50% eligibility creteria first we met college management, they interviewed me on name , place college and why are you choose this course some basic questions asked. after that they give admission form to fill the details, i hand over all documents like SSLC marks sheet, PUC marks Sheet, Transfer certificate (from PU college to this college) and i paid around 400000 fees....Read More
