Remarks

Overall the college is good with a faculty and infrastructure which is helping the students in becoming future hoteliers but also there are some drawbacks like classes from 9:30 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon it hectic and tiering as much of it is practical

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is upto date for today’s hotel industry and the exam structure is totally burden free as it includes 90% practical knowledge and less of theoretical notes I suppose that it is far far easier than class 11th and 12th studies

Placement Experience

The college is okish in terms of placements and internships as it has only a few hotels who are tied up for the jobs of the students of this college otherwise you have to search for the job the internship is also the same and not so good

College Events

There are regular competitions held in the college which are fully hosted by our college and other colleges are invited for the same they also go through some sports events The college owns a good image in terms of competitions as the students are prepared thoroughly for the same

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive if you are not a minority or don’t have a scholarship like for a general student the per year fees is 132000 per year and you can further multiply it into 4 for the whole course it’s quite expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship provided by government in our college I don’t know much about that because I am not eligible for the same. I guess that it is just for the below poverty line people

Campus Life

They have very good labs for the curricular part only and there was a sports Center also which is now sealed by govt I don’t know the reason but the rest is good like 3 kitchens 2 bakeries 2 restaurants etc

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors are helpful as they interact from day 1 and there is no bully system in the college except an system of taking interview of the juniors who are new and that’s not marked as wrong deed in our college

Admission

Minimum criteria is 60%in English in class 12th and rest all subjects 33% and above with a rank of 500 and below for general students for entrance so secure atleast 500 if you are general category otherwise for SC/ST it can go up to 1000 rank

Faculty

3.5

The faculty over here are all who belong to hotel industry itself and have a very good practical knowledge They are all very very supportive except a few teachers who have serious ego problems which can be catered if you work according to them

The college is too small . The committee's should try to build a big and spacious campus for the students .Rest everything is good . As it is one of the best college in India. Read this before getting admission in this college.

The eligibility for admission that you have to score a minimum of 50% in your 12th standard and you also have to give an entrance exam through the official website of Indraprastha University the criteria is that 75% of your entrance examination score and 25% of your 12th standard score is accumulated and make you eligible for the admission. They have 120 seats available every year. The yearly fees vary from 1,30,000 to 1,40,000. If you have to pay 40,000 to reserve your seat and the rest of the money after the verification of your documents which will be done at the college premises itself. Once your documents are verified you can pay the remaining fees and your admission process will be done. If for some reason you're not eligible your 40,000 will be refunded to you....Read More
