I applied for bcihmct in which 75% above marks is required in cbse and you have to clear the c.e.t exam which is been conducted by i.p university. there are 3 stages to get selected and the fourth is spotlight round to get 120 students. there is no GP or pi round required to get admission in it.

I chose this course because I was interested in cooking and communicating with others and in this course, I can do both. The course is of 4 years bachelor degree course and is divided into 8 semesters in which the 3rd or 4th semester is for the internship of the students, in this semester varies depending on the batch you are in. The faculty is fully supportive. they help the students in any which way they can and they don't mind if one ask the same things again and again speaking with my personal experience. some teachers are doctorate degrees and some have master degrees in the feild they are teaching and more so they have worked in a good post at a job in the hospitality industry before coming into the teaching line. the term exams have 6, month duration as all college has and on the scale of difficulties, they are on average base.

The brands that offer internships are Oberoi, Taj, Leela, Hilton, le meridian, etc. the stipend varies from nothing to 8000 maximum. they give all sort of work like in kitchen to front office job to the concierge to hr too.

The palcement is being offered by the top brands in the industry and they are sorted down if students are left, student preference is asked so that he or she can be helped in placement interview like he or she want more salary or wants to work with the reputed brand, etc, job offer depends on the brand like how many they want like 8 to 10 or sometimes 2 to 3 . their is 100% chances because college does not stop until each and everyone is placed it's just that the brand names keeps on decreasing in the next try.

The fees of the college are paid early and if wanted any extension then it depends on the college how they divide it, there are some scholarships given by the college and the government also the student has the option to choose anyone because both scholarships are applicable but the money benefit will not be much on it.

The campus life is good. The college has two main fest one is chef com a national level competition and other is an international level conference. the library has an adequate amount of books for the students and has extra search books for the students so that apart from th coursebook they can have real-life results too. they are a lot of games like football volleyball etc. there are more than 10 clubs for the students and each year there is one new club, there is a digital journal run by students
