Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as I was always interested in it and the placement they are providing is just remarkable. I remember one of my seniors who got a job in The Oberoi hotel his monthly pay was 70,000 and according to me, it's a very handsome amount considering the work experience he had. The Faculty here is so qualified and way too frank they will always listen to your problems and are always polite every faculty has a unique way of teaching some of the professors are PHD in HM which is great. The semester is of 5 months and in 5 months you have 2 examinations( Internal and External) the exams are categorised as theoretical and practical which can be passed easily if prepared well.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Big names like The Taj, Leela, Oberoi, Crowne Plaza and many more are associated with the college itself and visit the college every year and take interviews and hire the students. Some students even go abroad.

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year but students can earn from day 1 by indulging themselves in ODC(outdoor catering) in which the college will let you know about the job and you can go to a particular event and can earn a stipend from 700-1200 per day. Every year the college offers students the to run a food stall inside the college premises which is known as a food fest in which students can work in team and can earn money as well. The average placement package is 6,00,000 p.a. and can go as high as 12,00,000 and of course as you get more experienced you get paid accordingly. The college provides 100% which means every student will sit in the interviews and can get the job accordingly to their expertise. As I am interested in the kitchen department I will find a job in the same department.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is from 1,30,000 to 1,40,000. This is appropriate as they are providing a lot of things and teaching some really great skills. The scholarship process is simple as anybody can apply for it and get points according to every criterion i.e. score of 12 standards, rank in the entrance examination and you'll also have a personal interview in which they will ask normal questions and will provide you with the scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is really into extracurriculars and the most famous and most awaited annual fest is known as CHE(Chandi Wala hospitality ensemble) which is held in the month of October in which you can participate in any department and can win some really great prizes that include a cash prize, certificates, gift hampers etc. The library has the literature related to your course which will help you in exams. Sports day is held every year which includes almost every sport. For cricket lovers, they have BPL(Banarsidas premier league) in which students are chosen for different teams through an auction process. The media handle on Instagram or Facebook is handled by students and some social groups like plastic awareness groups and Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat(EBSB) is also run by students.
