Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course does help you in understanding better about Market, commerce, and real world, but often times it can be boring, and in the 3yr graduation program, students have mathematics in their course, which the 4yrs graduation students don't have.

Internships Opportunities

2

We get MNCs offering job placements in our university, but it's mainly for exceptional students, but if you have completed you graduation in bachelor of commerce, you don't really get much placement opportunitie, and about the internship opportunities in bcom, we got only one opportunity and that was for gst, with very less stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is ?22,000 a year, the tution fees, cautious fees, everything is included in this fees. The fees differs from categories to categories. The scholarship amount may differ, from students to students, and based on the category too. But the fees differs from college to college in Banaras Hindu University.

Campus Life

2

Overall experience is not good, the festivals yes they are there, but personally in my college we don't really get to access books out of our course. The technological provision in classrooms are not good, we don't have educomps in the classrooms.Sports and extracurricular activities are not really there much. And there aren't much social groups too.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges than this, and I chose this college, because it has a good reputation, teaching staff is fine, the fees structure is good. Other colleges of bhu may differ in these terms. Bhu provides good status, career opportunities, and other opportunities too.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio may differ. The faculties are not really approachable. The faculties I like are arts, geography. The faculty I don't like is commerce, it does not really provide many basic amenities, like elevator, and the teaching staff is not really good, The exam structure for the 3yr graduation students is like 6 semesters in 3years, and 2 semesters per year, and the marking structure is like 70 (internals) and 30 (external). In each semester we have 6 papers. And in the 6th semester we get to choose an elective paper too.

Night Life

4

To unwind, students mainly go to the cafeterias, liberary for studying, and the public areas like the temple, gardens, etc. The campus life is not that great. Famous hangout places are the Vishwanath Temple near faculty of commerce, the madhuban park, the cafeterias. The campus is really beautiful, it has a lot of green space, and it's the most beautiful when it's spring season. The locality is not safe if you are thinking of of roaming around at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good but i belive there should be more flexibility and more diverse topics should be taught as i mentioned earlier there should be something related to drama and skit and acting as it enriches the creative side of the students and also it is very necessary for a management student to have a creative skills too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core circular is moderately relevant but lens more forward theory than the practical application code, subject cover, fundamental concept and providing a base, but there is limited focus on industrial skill project work, coding or case studies which affect real world redness. Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. Trends exams are conducted twice a year medicine and M with internal contributing about 30% of the mark the frequency naval but timing of clashes with the critical session level is moderate theory tends to focus on road learning rather than the critical thinking. Overall the circular needs to more practical exposure, updated content and flexibility to prepare student for employment or higher studies.

Placement Experience:

There are total 6 semester in my course. The students become eligible for the course from the 4th semester onwards. The placements are not good in the college. It's very average. The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Remarks:

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.
