Course Curriculum Overview

5

Overall course was good but I think they need some improvement for palcements and infrastructure. They helped us to improve personal development skills. They teach us practically then theoritcal which was too good.

Internships Opportunities

1

Internships for BCA are less on campus but for other course, internhip assigned from MNCs with good package. I done a project on share markets and it enhanced my skills like problem solving and explored many things.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good in the University. If no placements are offerde, then also we have different options. We can apply for off campus for off campus placements like different job roles in tech and non-tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

I filled the application form of YMCA University for BCA course whose fees is 1k which was non-refunded. According to merit list, my name was selected for admission. And then, my counselling was conducted in online mode because I belong to different city and state. I got admission after the counselling. At that time, the fees is 80k for first year, 75k for second year, and 70k for third year (including tution fees, lab fees, development fees, and other charges). And we don't need to pay any other charges other than this. For all SC/ST students, they provide the scholarships also which help them to manage financial things. University also provide loan facility to EWS. But fees always increased for new admissions by small amount. My experience was good in the University. Staff is very helpful and good behavioral. University also have many socities and clubs. These clubs are very interesting. It comes under top universities of INDIA.

Campus Life

5

My experienced was good with campus life, clubs. They have different clubs nirmayan(yoga club), YRC(first-aid) club, dance club, music club, technical clubs and they have different deparment from which we can learn so much.

Hostel Facilities

5

In girls hostel, there are four buildings. Four girls lived in one room and one room have four bed, four almirahs. Meal quality is good and its affordable and hostel is less expensive then a PG. Hostel experience was also good.

Admission

For admission process, first we have to fill the application form. After that, entrance exam is conducted but sometimes they take the admission according to merit list like the did in covid. YMCA comes under top universities in India and from inside it's too goodnthat's why I choosed it.

Faculty

5

The faculty is expertise. BCA is of 3 year course and 75% attendence is mandatory. Total credits are 145. Internal assessments include comprise sessional tests, assignments. End-term exams are conducted in the end of each semester, contributing significantly to the final grade. In the 8th semester, 1 projects are also there.

Night Life

5

Gym is provided in hostels. cafeterias and library is provided in hostel and University. Girls Hostel timimg change as per season, but normally timing is 6 am to 6pm. Hostel arrange parties like night hang out, fresher party, and other festivals.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fairly decent, with a range of companies recruiting, though non-tech students often face challenges in securing relevant roles. The placement team conducts mock interviews and workshops to enhance students' soft skills. Salary packages vary significantly based on the company and individual skill set, and internship opportunities are also available.

Say anything about this college but i will not suggest to take BCA in this college. In other hand all teachers are giving their 100 to taught students better in College. I think they have to use digital service to teach im doing BCA and they still teaching like am taught by a school classrom by a school teacher.

From semester 6 the students start getting placed by companies. Companies visit colleges to hire freshers for an intern or for permanent jobs. Infosys and many companies visit the campus around 50 to 70 offers are placed at a time. Around 75% of students are placed in companies. Not sure about the placement procedure but I think that we will get some offers from companies in the 5th-6th semester. They were providing part-time jobs to students. We were informed by our teachers that our salary would be around 12000 rupees + incent and our working hours would be 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm. But when we were interviewed they told us that our salary would be 8000rs + incent and our work time will be 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. So all the students opted out of the job.
