Remarks

Positive Remarks- Environment of the college is very good. There is no ragging by seniors. Teachers are helpful. Infrastructure is good. Negative Remarks- Canteen is not up to mark. Some of the Office people are rude.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum must change after every one year in my opinion. Because of the fact that every year there is new technology emerging. So in order to understand those technologies curriculum must be changed. My curriculum is pretty much outdated. As I'm a computer engineering student the programming languages are outdated in our curriculum. So curriculum change is important after every year. The exam structure is good. We have 30 marks of In-sem paper and 70 marks of End-sem paper both are theories and three practicals of 50 marks each for third and final year ,whereas for first and second year it's 50 marks online and 50 marks theory. The exam structure is good it doesn't require any change.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunity are above average ,companies come for placement but the package they offer is average around 3-4 lpa. Highest package offered to our college is around 9 lpa. Our teachers take a huge responsibility of placing the students. Internships are provided mostly in third or final year not to every student but the Top 10 of that branch. I got two internships from this college. But the internship that we get are not provided with any kind of stipend. It's just gaining knowledge and experience. I got internship in Tech Mahindra for 2 months. It was a great opportunity for me to gain experience of how the IT field works in real world. I did a project on AR/VR in Maker's Lab of Tech Mahindra.

College Events

3.5

We celebrate two events one is the college fest which is the biggest event known as ALACRITY. Every college student comes and participate in various contests and games hosted by our college. In fact we have DJ night in our college fest. There's food truck and other stuffs. Second event is our inter- department fest. Where every department celebrates its own event. My department is computer so we have CESA. We invite students from other colleges and have small events like quiz , table tennis and other fun stuffs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its not much expensive from general category point of view. For general category it's between 85000-90000. And for other castes it is less. In my opinion it is quite feasible by every student. And college also offers for caste students loan who can't afford the fees. There are various schemes related to caste people regarding fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I know my friend use to tell me about EBC scholarship that our college provides. Its a scholarship for those whose parents income is less than 4 lacs. So college provides this facility and hence the students can pay less fees around half of the original fees.

Campus Life

4

In Extracurricular activities our college is very good. We have won inter college cricket cups. We have won 3 times mind spark technical event that is conducted by COEP. Labs are very good in every floor we have one room for particular subject practical. I'm in computer branch so we have 4 computer labs. Two labs also have ACs. And every floor has WiFi access. Our college provides free WiFi for Vodafone users for half an hour. Our college support almost every game football, cricket, table tennis and other games also.

Alumni/Alumna

Some of the alumnis are useful as they're are offering job opportunities and also internship. Some of the alumnis have opened there own startup. Our alumnis network is not that much strong as compared to other college. Due to that we don't get good package in placements. Overall only few alumnis are helping the college.

Admission

I got admission through Maharashtra CET. After undergoing CAP (common admission process) rounds I got this college according to my merit. At my time there were total four CAP rounds. I got this college in CAP-1 round but I waited for better college, but I didn't get one. So I took admission in AISSMS IOIT.

Faculty

3

The faculty of my college is quite good. Not all teachers are good but few teachers very much helpful. The Training and placement cell faculty is also very good, preparing students for interviews and placements. As my branch is computer so teachers are very much cooperative. They are very much strict when it comes to attendance. This is one plus point as students have to come to college without bunking the classes.
