My Experience As a RMCET Student

The Course curriculum is provided by University of Mumbai only because college is under University of Mumbai. In Curriculum Practical knowledge is highly weightage. Practical and Project having equal weightage as written exams. The only change i would like to suggest is. It must have 1 Programming language subject. Frequency of exam is monthly and difficulty level is moderate

Internships are mainly for learning purpose only. No stipend. Vanaz Engineering Works, Gadre Infotech Ratnagiri etc . Also college TNP cell provide Some Internships as well as they will provide some technical course in summer and winter holidays

After 7th semester the companies will come for placement drive. Compnies like Infogen, Bajaj, Wipro etc will come. Highest package is around 7 LPA and average is 2.5 LPA. 50% of students will placed. I got off campus placement

I am Diploma Student So I took admission directly to second year. This all amount bases on Your Category. I'm from OBC group so For me second year total fees something around 43,000. Including All Tution Development Library. For Third year same fees i paid. But for Last year 43,500. 500 for Placement Training fees. If you are from Open Category then your total fees will be something 75,000. If you are from SC,ST or NT VJ then it will be total 10000. They will not asking any other fees. And one point is you can pay fees quarterly basis.

College is Festival and Event friendly Most of the event celebrate in college. 2 Events held by each Departmet per semester events include quiz competitions, Debates,Coding competitions etc. One college sports Event is held in December month will be 15 days having sports indoor and outdoor dance and all other activities. Library is full of books and journals. You can avail 2 books by giving ID number for 15 days. NSS social group is highly active in college for social activities

Actually I am from Maharashtra Ratnagiri District. In Ratnagiri district mostly 4 Engineering colleges. RMCET FAMT VPM Gharda. One another Gov College Ratnagiri is newly open. All colleges are good but RMCET is having 20 year of expectations. My diploma in mechanical engineering score is 76 and my first preference is RMCET so i get same in very 1st attempt of online admission process. There is no any examination for admission. Admission process is followed by your Diploma score or CET and JEE score if you 12th student. If you have average marks means more than 60 % and obc you will definitely get admission. If Open category and having 65+ % score if you are from minority then you will must have 50% score. Admission process is very easy. For each and every step collge will help you definitely

For My Mechanical Departmet Total 300 Students and 10 Faculties. All Facilities are PhD holders or ME and experienced. Mr. Vaibhav Dongare is one of the best faculty. He make sessions interactive. The practical activity and knowledge is arrange by most of the faculties. Guest Lectures and Alumini meets are arranged by Mr. Vaibhav sir which is very helpfull for students. Basically each semester 2 Class Test and One Semester test conducted by each Semester for every subject. Class test is just for practice. Semester test is about 100 marks. 80 written 20 Viva and Practical

Gym timings are 6 AM to 8 PM Library also same. Gate will closed after 7.30 PM. Campus and hostel IN timings are 6 AM to 7PM Out timings are 6 AM to 9 PM If you want other than this timing then you have to take permission of rector and class teacher City is away from college so no such hangout place for night
