college is owned and run by karnataka govt. teacher are govt. employ . there are all facilities.
gender ratio is male 62% and female 38% , no ragging
as it is a govt. college fees is very less and affordable i.e around 40k per year

Dislikes

the lack of wifi router , labs are is still in works
placements is low like 30-40% highest is 5 lpa
bcm hostels are 6-7 km far from college , but st/sc boys hostel is there in campus

Course Curriculum Overview

the college follows the VTU exam guildlines , the new 2022 scheme is very well srtuture around education and real life implementation. you have to do two intership in 2 and 3 year final project in 4 year and a aicte activty task . there is a make-up exam once a year for claering your back subs .

FROM 2018-2022 GOT ADDMISSION THROUGH K-CET 2018, PAID 19090/- TO KCET IN COLLEGE PAID 4750/- FOR 1st YEAR AND FOR ALL 3 YEAR FEES WAS SAME 17090/- THE EXAM FEES IS PAID SEPARATELY EVERY SEMESTER TO COLLEGE AS PER VTU FEE IS SAME FOR ALL OTHER BATCHS TUITION FEES IS 15000/- , ALL OTHER ARE 2090/- FOR SCHOLARSHIPS SSP IS THERE , IF YOUR ANNUAL INCOME IS BELOW 1 LAKH YOU GET YOUR TUITION FEES REFUNED

ONE FEST HAPPENS YAER NAMED KALARAVA AROUND JUNE . THERE IS LIBRARY BLOCK WITH ALL BOOKS ALL CLASS HAVE SMART-BOARD THERE IS SPORT DEPARTMENT , WITH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR FACLITIES VTU HAS SPORTS CALENDER , INTER COLLEGE SPORTS HAPPENS EVERY YEAR COLLEGE HAS MULPTIES CLUBS PROGRAMS

i apply to multiples college in banglore RV COLLEGE , B.R AMDEKAR COLLEGE , UVGC OTHER GOVT. COLLEGE , DUE TO HIGH RANK COULD'T GET IN , BUT AT LAST ROUND I GOT IN GECR IN ECE DEAPARTMENT , IN 2018 HIGHEST CUT-OFF WAS 1LAKH AT CIVIL DEPARTMENT , K-CET IS EASY TO MODERATE EXAM

Faculty

faculty to student ratio is like 18:1, faculty member are appaacherable , i was in ECE department . Dr. Imran Khan Sir is good , he is reachable and understandable and also HOD of departemnt. i cant say about faculties i don't like , all were good to me. about exams paper and evalution is done by VTU rules and guildlines

Night Life

THERE IS NO GYM IN CAMPUS AREA. CAFEETERIAS ONLY IN COLLEGE TIMING LIBARAY ALSO IN COLLEGE TIMING THERE ARE TEMPLES NEAR BY AND JANAPADA PART VERY CLOSE TO CAMPUS , ON THE BANGLAORE - MYSUR HIGHWAY VERY COOL PLACE TO LEARN ABOUT CUILTURE OF KARNATAKA

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

Never give up

The admission process of my college is based on acpc. I think this 4 round is better enough for those who didn't get admission by the main exam we can get admission by entrance exams like GUJCET, JEE, NEET, etc. I also get some entrance exams like GUJCET, and JEE this is the best chance to show yourself and get admission in the best colleges. Your admission is dependent on your acpc cut-off and also depends on your department. For talking about the 2023 year computer department cutoff is higher than in others their seats are full at some minor times and in our college this year many departments have full seats like computer, electronic and communication, and electrical.
