Faculty, and the friendly environment in college
Location of the college was like beside the forest
Most important thing there is no ragging

Placements xas not there and soft skills
Not doing the laboratory subjects in practical manner
Not maintaining the washrooms properly which is threatening the health

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science was booming branch so i decided to persue the same The subject are very essential to have insights about the working of computers. DSA, AIML, OS, DBMS Practical implementation is required The exam timings is 3 hours per subject which is good and there is no much difficulty in scoring

I got a seat under snq quota Which is reserved for top 3 students in each class based on cet rankings and economy wise. I paid cet fees and college fees in first year which is 4090 and 4500 respectively. In 2nd year 2010 rupeees and same in upcoming years

Campus Life

Febrauary SCIENCE DAY may KALARAVA november KANNADA RAJYOTHSAVA there are wide range of accessible tobooks and journals There is no much technological provisions The sports activities are going good out of college campus but there is no proper ground for sport No students are running social groups. But there is alumini in our college

Hostel Facilities

We joined in BCWD hostels They providing bunk cotts along with bed, bedspread, pillow and blanket. One safety cupboard. And table and chair. The food was hygienicically prepared. In morning the Tiffin time was around 7.30 to 8.30 along with coffee. They provide south indian brakefast Lunch rice sambar and buttermilk Dinner they give ragi balls, rice, sambar, egg, buttermilk. Admission

I applied for all the government colleges in cs branch only. I did option entry consideration a distance from hometown . Because i don't know how to choose the colleges at that time. Banglore was near to me after this ramanagar was near. My ranking didn't suit for the banglore government colleges. My college admission was as scheduled by kea.

Faculty

Comparatively the students to faculty ratio was not enough. But they were friendly and approachable Chethan Sir was the back support in our branch for all the activities I don't dislike any faculties but 2 of them were moody. Each sem we have 1 exam the subjects vary around 6 to 9 which include labs extra subjects along with regular subjects

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Never give up

The admission process of my college is based on acpc. I think this 4 round is better enough for those who didn't get admission by the main exam we can get admission by entrance exams like GUJCET, JEE, NEET, etc. I also get some entrance exams like GUJCET, and JEE this is the best chance to show yourself and get admission in the best colleges. Your admission is dependent on your acpc cut-off and also depends on your department. For talking about the 2023 year computer department cutoff is higher than in others their seats are full at some minor times and in our college this year many departments have full seats like computer, electronic and communication, and electrical.
