About Shambhunath institution of engineering and technology

When I came I wanted admission in cse department but seat were full so they gave me ECE and I have been pursuing it for 2 years. Course curriculum need improvement in practical aspects instead of focusing on theoretical knowledge.

The year wise fees is around 82k. If I constitute every thing then fee is around 90k in which we have to pay 8k during semester exam directly to aktu via online mode. We also had paid 8k extra during admission for various events like cultural events or eureka. There are some advantages for SC and ST student but I don't have proper idea about it.All Students belong to UP gets scholarship from state government.

Various cultural events takes place in college specifically in month of October and November. Library of the college is decent we can get book easily for exams or gate preparation. Sports events occur regularly each year with many students participate in it. Seniors run goups in which you can also take part in it.

Ithe admission process of this college is very easy you can either come through jee exam or can directly take admission without any requirement.the only advantage is that those who comes through jee or counselling gets scholarship and all other should have to pay there fee on there own

Faculties are quite good and very helpful specially in ECE department. I personally like my HOD Mr Chandrabhan Jha. He is very kind and knowledgeable person and understand students need very well. There are total of 8 semesters in btech in which we have to give 2 semester each year. Exams are quite good not so tough and not so easy.

Yes I did face small interview which I think was just a formality and nothing else. Admission criteria is simple you can give jee exam exam and come through counselling helps you to get scholarship from state government. Or you can take direct admission just by paying registration fee.

If anyone takes admission in hostel then you can get various facilities like gym and playground which big enough to play cricket or any other sports. College timing is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with 1 hr break for lunch.
