What Students Say

Likes

I liked the things like class rooms and neatness of the college .
I didn't like the girls and boys behavior of the seniors in the college.
And finally i liked the most environment is soo nice to sit or stand in the college

Dislikes

Disliked are jobs hiring there is no good placements regarding to the btech students.
Some are there like food for other state peoples who are living in the different hostels .
And the ac rooms are not given to the btech students but the fee are Taking more from btech students..i didn't like this type of partiality.

Course Curriculum Overview

I didn't like any type of cocurricular activities during the collage time because..there is no any events to participate like dancing,singing like this there is no opportunities for playing games in free time

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 119000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For tuition fee 1,40,000 but for me they given that consuccion 20000.and i am paying online 119000 and i get scholarship nearly 20000 .through college by Centurion university. Per year changing it changes the fee structure and increases .due to this i request to college management to decrease thefee

Campus Life

There is no any safe zones in this college for girls mainly..now a days the security is more important for girls but in this college there is no more security. And no one can take responsibility or care on girls ..but this college is not good for girls who are staying at hostels.

Admission

I didn't choose this college for my btech studies .but i joined in this college only one option it is near by home to come and go Daily. I wrote jee and advance but i get seat in assom .mechanical branch due to that reason i didn't get to go that college finally i joined in. This collage .

Faculty

I liked the faculty more in first semester is .. Aurubindo bag course teach by the basic electrical engineering. And sathayanarayana dhal course teach by optics and optical fibers . Pranitha mahapatro course teaches by data visualization using python. Vijaya sir course teaches by the environmental science. These all are from 1st semester

Night Life

There is no chance to go outside and stay for upto 9 pm at ni8 ..there is only the permission given by the management to stay inside campus upto 7 or 8 .thats it .so we cant do any memories in this college

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Placement Experience:

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

CUTM Paralakhemundi is massive!!

Well, the only college or university that I applied was for KIIT. Trust me, I had admissions there too but not in CSE and since I wanted to pursue CSE, I chose this university. Admission are based on per entrance for Orissa State and one has to be in top 1500 to have admission here....Read More

CUTM Paralakhenundi is fun!!

I applied for GIET University and KIIT university and I was invited by both the universities. I thought chose this as Centurion University is like older than them and has AICTE approval before them. Orissa Joint Entrance Examination score is accepted by the university as you can fill the admission form online on CUTM website and if your 12th marks and OJEE score is as per the university cut-off you will receive and invitation letter and soon you can find yourself studying in this prestigious university....Read More
