Course Curriculum Overview

5

The deepest engineering is CSE and to pursue that it doesn't just need skills but courage too. Our curriculum makes us both courageous and skillful at the same time. I have loved every single that our course covers and that's the reason we have stood hands in hands with students of even tier-1 colleges during events.

Internships Opportunities

5

Well, internships are given to students to the core industries. Both online and offline internships are provided in many government and private companies like DRDO and ISRO and among private Wipro and McKinsey also provide intenrships to us.

Placement Experience

5

Deloitte, HP, HCL, and Genpact among others are like with the university from ages. So since the crowd is high the average placements are less but the point is that even with such large crowd, the placements happen and that too at a large scale.

Fees and Financial Aid

CUTM Paralakhemundi is one of the largest university in Orissa and with a view to provide quality education to all which can be afforded by anyone the university charges just 100k a year. The university is best in giving scholarship as whoever has 80% attendance get 10% off and also if one scores 8+ CGPA gets 10% scholarship based on merit.

Campus Life

5

CUTM Paralakhenundi is the biggest university of Orissa which is spread in 120 acres of land. We have 6 playgrounds in all and 10 hostels including both girls and boys. 4 canteens and one night canteen too. The campus is built with modern architect and it has one of the largest auditorium with a seating capacity of over 3000 students. Even out annual fest Gajajyoti happens in our auditorium.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are just surreal experience thing. Also including the message fees, the hostel fees is just 80000 a year for a two seater room. We also have single room and three seater room options as well. The curfew time for both boys and girls is 7pm.

Admission

I applied for GIET University and KIIT university and I was invited by both the universities. I thought chose this as Centurion University is like older than them and has AICTE approval before them. Orissa Joint Entrance Examination score is accepted by the university as you can fill the admission form online on CUTM website and if your 12th marks and OJEE score is as per the university cut-off you will receive and invitation letter and soon you can find yourself studying in this prestigious university.

Faculty

5

Our university may be among two tier university but our faculties are no less than tier-1 faculties. Their hands on experience and to engage with students they know exactly how to do it. So, i have seen all side of it and I am happy that on faculties front we are secure.

Interview Experience

5

GD was like asking about what's going on in the world like when I took admission, COVID times were still on and so we were asked to discuss on the measures that one should take and all. So, likewise in batches everyone were given different different topics.

Night Life

5

The campus is in a serene village and we have a huge fountain near CRC 1. That's probably the best roaming and unwinding spot for us. For food we generally ho to Cakes and Bakes, Tea Time and Centurion Connect.

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
