CUTM Paralakhemundi is massive!!

Academics here have the best features as our labs are where we have the best learning sessions. In classrooms we still have fun but in labs no nonsense policy is followed. Our queries are solved upfront and no classes are started without clearing the doubts of the previous sessions.

After getting trained like animals in the entire third year, we finally get to give the tests and interviews in the final years. HCL Tech, Infosys, TCS and likewise many other companies are invited and most of them hires most students. So, placements worth 6-8 lakhs from CUTM Paralakhemundi is an easy peasy thing.

CUTM Paralakhemundi is one of the largest universities of Orissa and it graduates us in engineering with a fees of 125k. This is much lesser than the private universities of other states they charges 3x of us and still don't even have half the facilities that our campus has.

The campus which is spread in almost 40 acres of land have 12-15 buildings and 3-4 canteens that includes and coffee shops as well. Fashion society, debate society, moot court society, and likewise almost 20+ societies are active at our campus. Our huge auditorium hosts our annual fest Gajajyoti and it is without an iota of doubt one hell of a fest.

Rooms are two seaters and three seaters and I pay 1 lakhs a year for an air-conditioned two seater room. Our room has two sets of each facilities like the table, cupboards and beds. The mess are quite a few and there's one seperate mess for students who are vegetarian.

Well, the only college or university that I applied was for KIIT. Trust me, I had admissions there too but not in CSE and since I wanted to pursue CSE, I chose this university. Admission are based on per entrance for Orissa State and one has to be in top 1500 to have admission here.

Our faculties are top good in replenishment and has probably every arrow in their arsenal to get the best in us. Pushing to the limit is not something they believe in business but rather pushing beyond the limit is.

Coffee Connect and CRC1 are among two best spots for hangout inside the campus. Outside the campus we have Gajapati Palace and a palatial Gajapati Park. Gandahati Waterfall is our monsoon hangout spots and we have a lot of memories of there.
