Likes

College architecture is damn good like in some places architecture is damaged but the college is built around 511 acres so that is cool
Campus life is truly amazing in gbu . Literally I can tell you gbu college life is truly amazing and good
Faculty teaching style is good 👍. They don't care about how many days you have not attended the classes. There teaching style is relevant like in other College faculty is like faculty like head but in gbu they are friendly they talk in good way

Dislikes

College environment is not good like some gujjar and jaat boys are creating nuisance in college. They only come to college for having fun so this I dislike the most
College placement is bit average like some company have blacklisted the Gautam Buddha University. like Accenture have blocked the college
College doesn't provide any assistance in internship

Course Curriculum Overview

The frequency and timing of exam is like mid semester is there in three months but end semester happened after one month of mid semester Curriculum is okay okay like they don't make you industry ready. So curriculum is bit below average

From 6 semester you are eligible for placement Mass recruiter like Tcs Infosys Wipro visited the college. Highest package is 55 lpa from Microsoft Average package is 3-8 lpa My plans after the degree is I want to give gate exam Like that is enough for you

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee yearly I am paying is 100000 lakh rupees only and for SC/ST student fees is 50000 rupees only. Admission fee is 25000 rupees only And scholarship is given by up govt for general student is 56000-68000 rupees only And for SC/ ST students is rupees 96000 rupees only

Campus Life

Annual fest that is happening in college is abhivynjna In library you can get all the books that you want gbu library have most of the books for engineering too There is clubs also but I have not enrolled in because club are like waste of time from my pov

Admission

I have got selected in merchant Navy and I got AIR 1605 in merchant Navy exam ( IMU- CET) . So my main aim is to get into merchant Navy but due to some health issues/ medical reason I left the merchant Navy so after that I have given gbu - et and I have taken in gbu . Also I have given jee mains where I have got only 71.45 percentile and I am from general category so the last option is gbu only

Faculty

Faculty student relationship is good. Like teacher are like teacher and student behave in student way . But they are best in one thing like if one student is not well for months and but suddenly they come to class then the faculty assured that student should get the notes and all the imp thing . So the faculty in gbu is good . But not every teacher is same some of them are bad too But overall gbu faculty is good

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
