Likes

IGNOU fees is affordable and it's good for distance learning
There infrastructure is also good and classes are only scheduled on weekends
Faculty are also good they there are PhD holders as a faculty

Dislikes

IGNOU is a government University it's takes lot of time for addmission etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have interest in this course. This course this good and there are lots of future opportunities like machine learning, artificial intelligence etc. The exams are held on afternoon shift

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 27400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In IGNOU there is semester wise fees 13700 per semester fees. IGNOU is for open distance learning if anyone not avail to do regular college it can join IGNOU for open distance. Every Saturday and Sunday are scheduled in IGNOU. There is no scholarship in IGNOU.

Campus Life

IGNOU there is no fest and freshers party etc. They send you book with post office. But post take lots of time. It will take maybe a month. To deliver your books. Classrooms are big. There is your choice you want to take a class or not. There is no issue for attendance. There is no social life.

Admission

I choose this college because others are so expensive like amity per semester fees is 50000 Rs. IGNOU is affordable and good for open distance learning. Eligibility is you need to competed your graduation in bca. Then you can get addmission

Faculty

All Faculties are good. Faculties teaching methods are also good. Faculty listen all queries. There are 5 subjects in per semester. IGNOU exams are not difficult. IGNOU exam level is moderate. So everyone can easily pass in exams.

Night Life

There is no night life in IGNOU because it is for distance learning. Only you need to go college for exams. So there is no social life and night life in IGNOU. There is no need for for hostel. Classes are scheduled on weekends. It's not compulsory to attend a class.

After 5th semester all students become eligible for the campus placement.TCS company visited .Highest pacskage was 5 lac and average package was 2 lac.70 % students got placed.After getting the degree my plan is to prepare for govt job.

Placement Experience:

The placements of USICT are the best among all the colleges of IPU. Every average to top student will get a good placement here. You will get an ample number of opportunities here. And the whole team of placement cells is also very cooperative. You will get internship opportunities from the second semester itself and full-time opportunities from the third semester and continue till the end of the fourth semester. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the minimum package is around 3.5 LPA. Around 90% of students have got placed. I am currently working as a software developer at Alternative Path.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths. My overall admission experience was okay, but the approval process took a long time. In my case, it took almost 3 months to finally get the confirmation of admission....Read More
