- Single AC rooms in hostels provide privacy and beat the heat in summers
- Hostel walls are made up of large stones which helps in insulation from heat
- The campus is pretty big and one can easily roam in the free time
Dislikes
- Problem of water sometimes due to its location
- Mess food is not so good, it is the case for almost all days barring one or two
- Less eateries, but many more things like dominos are coming up now
Course Curriculum Overview
The choice to choose either hindi or engish as the mode of teaching is very good for many students who are unable to grasp concepts in english and are not comfortable with it. There is a branch of engineering science which is very dynamic as it allows the students to pursue courses of two different branches simultaneously.
Internships Opportunities
All major companies like google and microsoft and several finance companies offer internship here during the 3rd year. One need to build good projects an a convincing portfolio to compete in the fight of getting an internship.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester they are aligible, many big companies like Google, Amazon, Blackrock, Flipkart come here during the placement season. In the circuital branches the percentage of students gettig placed is 80+ mostly.
Fees and Financial Aid
200000 is the yearly tution fees, there are some other fees like semester fees which includes all the other charges like hostel and miscellaneous things which is around 30000. For SC,ST and EWS with income less than 5 lakhs candidates there is no tution fees. Apart from this, there is a seperate fees for mess which is currently around 20000 for each semester.

Hostel Facilities
The room is pretty good, it is a single room with both AC and fan present. We are provided with a bed, almirah, desk and chair inside the room. The mess food is pretty average which is the case with most messes out there.
Admission
After JEE advanced I filled many colleges in the Josaa counselling and finally I was alloted a seat in electrical engineering at IIT jodhpur. The admission process is pretty much smooth, first we nee dto upload the soft copy of the various documents on the college portal then bring and submit the hard copies at the time of physical reporting.
Faculty
One faculty teaches a section of around 260 students, the faculties are pretty much approachable and they respond very quickly on mail or phone. Personally I have liked most of the faculties here especially Dr. Raj Laxmi Chauhan, assistant professor in department of electrical engineering, her teaching methodology is very unique and efficient.There are mainly 2 exams minors and major just like half-yearly and yearly exams in schools.
Night Life
There are seperate gyms in each hostels and the library is open on all days. There is no specific timings for hostel and campus we just need to do the entry in the register post 2 in the night. The canteen is also open till 2 am.
