Course Curriculum Overview

5

the curriculum prepares us really well for the real world applications and guides us for our further academic pursuits, the best thing was every subject having practical exams and practical training and not just theoretical explanations. the frequency and timing of the exam had good intervals like mid term would happen after 2 months of course starting and end term was conducted around 5 months after course starting.

Placement Experience

4

In the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements, and you should not have any backlogs in any semesters, quite a good number of comapnies visited the college, most of my friends are placed right now and are earning good money. highest package would be around 5 lpa or 6 lpa. around half of the students got placed. i completed my degree and opted for masters and i am currently pursuing my masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

the year wise fees i paid was around 40 thousand rupees, and this was including everything tution, development, lab, etc. thre was not any extra charge for anything, there was scholarships available for students who seek financial aid, u need to contact mumbai university and talk to them and fill certain form and provide certain documents.

Campus Life

5

campus life was quite good , there was quite a number of clubs to be part with, i was a member of the student council club, and there were also annual social meets, and annual sports meet, the library was really good, with quite a vast number of books and journal available, technological provisions were good with every class having smart boards.

Admission

i choose this college over others because the fees of this college was quite affordable and also the reviews and placement oppurtunities of the college was good. the admission process is quite simple u fill the admission form, provide the documents and you should have more than 60 percent in your 12th exam.

Faculty

5

the faculty is very good, they are very approachable and provide great guidance to the students , the course structure consists of 5 subjects and practical exam for every subjects, every semester has 2 exams, mid term and end term, the best thing about the college was its faculty, the exams are not at all difficult , if you focus on the lectures and study well before exam , then its quite easy to clear the exams.

Interview Experience

5

no actually there were not any gd or interview or written test for admission all they has was the criteria of 60% in your 12th board exams to be able to get admission in the college and pursue your course.

Night Life

3

to be very honest the locality around the college is not that good to roam in night, but the college has a good gym and also a good cafeteria , hostel is just opposite of the college with good spaces to live.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum. And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this. And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

The course provides an exceptional knowledge of the fundamentals of physics and its application in various fields. The course is designed to prepare the students well. The teaching method is excellent for the teachers to use real-life examples and exciting visuals while teaching. However, the course can be improved by adding some modern physics fields such as astrophysics and quantum mechanics to the curriculum.
