Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason behind choosing this course is environment conservation and without knowledge I would not able to take proper actions for conservation and also not able to engage community in this work

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 40400 per year

Placement Experience

There is 50-60 % of students getting placements in our department, average package is about 300000per year If I didn't get placement through college I will opt for government exam to work in the field of environment or in forest department

Fees and Financial Aid

Allover fee 40400, Tution fee 6700 Laboratory fees 13500 Exam fees 2500 Library fees 3600 Other fees 14100 It is increasing I get mahaDBT scholarship per year I get my tution fees return as mahaDBT scholarship which is 6700rs

Campus Life

There are many festivals held in the college campus along with our academics The biggest on is spandan which is held in the month of December Second is muktchhand which is held in the month of February

Admission

The Fergusson college Pune is a autonomous college and also it is one of the best colleges of Maharashtra. It also ranks 45th in allover colleges in India, and provide quality education with other activities like cultural ,sports , NSS and NCC

Faculty

Faculty is very helpful and supportive, faculty members are like parents to students. They help students in studies and also support them in other activities. There are 2 semester exams and about 4 CE tests

Night Life

The night life around my college is awesome, there are many cafes and shopping spots near my college My most favourite is fc road because of shopping purpose The security around college campus is also very good as it is main area of Pune City

I applied to only 2 colleges as my first preference was fergusson. So I only appied to fergusson and garware college. I got selected there too but as I got selected at fergusson while I was in dilemma whether to pay fees of garware or not , I decided to give fergusson a chance. So for admission process, they took an entrance exam for which we had to pay Rs. 800/- as processng fees of application and exam. So after giving exam the scorelist came and on the basis of that cutoff was decided for various categories.
