Hidden truth about Rungta college, bhilai. Good or bad?

I have chosen CSE core but there are many sub branches like AI-ML, AI, Data Science etc.. whose course curriculum and syllabus are totally different so I have chosen CSE core which is most acceptable in placements. From 2nd year onwaards they push you to build real world projects and best projects are awarded also and should be considered in next Smart India Hackathon. One major improvement is needed that their CSE labs are below average just because of unavailable parts of computer sometimes keyboard sometimes mouse.

From the end of 7th semester you'll be eligible for campus placements but there are also some conditions: First you have no back in previous semester exams. Second you have to score above 7CGPA to sit in good companies who provide 3lpa and have 7 to 8 rounds of interview. Average package offered was 3 lpa in 2024 which were given to only 50 to 60 students. Rest all are jobless or preparing for higher studies. Highest was 12lpa (1 student got this), what? 30lpa? That was from off campus. Total 15 to 20 companies visited in a certain period like Tech Mahindra, Ankage and small funded companies. I am preparing for GATE and want good college for better placements.

I have paid 75000 yearly in first year as college fees and 75000 for hostel but I left hostel due to many reasons: Main reason was the food quality which was horrible, If you're health concious then hostel is not for you, too much oily food. Second reason was that they have increased the amount of hostel fee which was 75000 earlier and now it goes upto 1.3 lakh depends on room sharing. There are scholarship but if you're from general then that scholarship is not for you buddy, they will provide only for SC/ST. Talking about the sports fee it is included other than college fee like Rs.500 for sports and Rs.250 for book bank If you're interested or not in sports or talking book for rent. Almost all have similar fee structure it can vary between 1000-3000.

VYOM which helds every year on our college in which last year Akhil Sachdeva and Aman Gupta came here which was awesome experience and this year we're expecting more. Libraries have wide range of books, journals which is beneficial for everyone. No technology even broken CCTV is placed in most of the classes. Many clubs are present like Rangamanch for singing, drama etc... Toastmasters club for Chess and sports competition, and many more whose programs will be on every saturday after half day classes.

There are different seater rooms available in our college like 4 seater 3 seater and 2 seater, you can't opt for single seater. In built washroom provided and small balcony also. Menu is like chapatis, rice, two different vegetables (paneer on sunday and special on thursday), salad, daal and pickles. Frequently they provides raita also.

I have chosen different college but I fall in their 48lpa placement marketing whose counsellor is all around in Bihar, Jharkhand and many other places. One more reason to choose this college because of low fee and DRCC loan which is approved in this college. For admission you just have to talk to any of the counsellor or college itself, fill the form, make advance payment and you'll get the college. No need of passing any entrance exam which I have figured out in this college when student having 40% in 12th have got admission.

One faculty is handling 70+ students because they are talking thousands of students in a single branch that is CSE till the room is not filled. There are many faculties which I don't like them due to lack of confidence while teaching but they are very few. There are 2 internal exam conducted every semester which is of 40 marks and you have to score 14 for paasing and their marks is included in semester exam like if you have attended internal you only have to score 35 otherwise 42. In short average of both internal exam marks will considered in main semester exam.

Gym is again pathetic, broken machines, too much hot inside gym. You have to take a pass even till 6pm If you want to go outside campus. Mess timing is like this : 7 am to 9 am breakfast. 12 pm to 2 pm lunch. 7 pm to 9 pm dinner and upto 10 pm you can walk around the campus after that you have to go in your room. There are no hangout places outside the campus you have to go far away to find better. In campus there are lovers point, cafe area and etc... Locality is preety much safe till 10 pm outside the campus.
