Likes
- The overall transportation system in the university is very good you wonut have to travel long distances with foot as there are a lot of electric carts, and you can find them easily without much efforts.
- The amount of food court available, you can eat different types of food daily.
- The Mall here is especially great you can get everything needed here
Dislikes
- Food at the mess can be improved often it feels bland
- In order to leave the university, you have to apply for leave if you live in the hostel
- The attendance system can be a bit problematic
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relevant in today's time an is very comprehensive, covering all aspects a management student needs to know. As it is a 4-year course you save 1 whole year which can be used to gain experience.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities here are great and you can easily find one for yourself. Not only are there many companies giving you internships but also companies helping you find internships. You can easily get an internship for your course.
Placement Experience
The overall placement can be said to be just fine you can get some opportunities but not that many. My course is 4 years and students can get placements starting from 3er year. I personally am going for an off-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The normal fee for this course is 1,20,000 per semester which is 2,40,000 yearly, but I got a grade 1 scholarship which gives a 25% reduction of 30,000 per semester or 60,000 yearly. By the time the course is over the overall fees will be 9,60,000
Campus Life
The campus life is great, there are a lot of places you can visit and a lot of things you can do. The best thing about Lovely Professional University is that it is a very open and spacious university.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility provided is great, in the hostel a normal room of 4 seater gets you a 4 bed, Almira for 4, washroom, bathroom geyser and air conditioner/cooler. Registration can be done either during registration or after getting here.
Admission
I applied for quite a few colleges but my main focus was on DU and LPU. In order to get into DU you need to clear CUET and when I took the exam for it the result was late by a whole 1 and a half months so because there was no better alternative I chose LPU
Faculty
The faculty here is great and is very helpful. It is a 4-year course divided 2 for undergraduate and 2 for postgraduate. Exams are conducted 2 times per semester where midterms are focused on objective questions and finals are focused on subjective questions.
Interview Experience
I had an interview which one of the faculty before joining the college. It was A mix inter you asking all types of question.The topics involved were world politics and global economy. The difficulty of the interview wasn't all that high.The questions were generally related to general knowledge and such.
Night Life
The nightlife is great here, especially for hostelers. The gym and food stands are open till 10 pm while the library is open till 12 and there is no time limit to go out for boys' hostel. The best place to go at night is either food stand or robo park
