Affordable college with a knack for improvement

The course curriculum can be found on Institute website. It is a general combination of all the prerequisites of maths and computer science till 2nd year. From 3rd year onwards it contains subjects that deal with actual course objective. Several subjects of computer science that are not relevant should be removed, other extra subjects should also be removed. The exam schedules are really very bad, with sometimes no gap while other times large gaps in between. Also most of the time it feels like giving one or another exam, mid sems should be taken only once and 2nd for absentees. The mid sems are a bit difficult but end sems have average difficulty.

Internships are not provided to every student but rather to those who stay aware and are in contact with training and placement cell. Internship in Airforce, research internship in IIT, and many such opportunities are provided based on resume.

From 7th semester students can apply for placement. Companies such as infosys, deloitte, tcs and accenture visit the campus for placements. The lowest package was 3.5 lpa and highest 40 lpa this year with average being around 5 lpa.

The fees for 1st semester was around 60000 then 2nd semester had fees around 40000, similarly in every other semester fees is higher in one and lower in another making average fees per year around 100000. Medhavi scholarship for all students and many other scholarships for sc/st/obc students is provided. The fees is increasing for every new batch, but fee structure remains same for a batch once admitted.

This year Aarunya, the cultural fest of MITS was held from 7 to 9 march which brought icons like Rahgir and DJ Aaliya along with performance from bandish band and Nrityasangam dance performance. Many competitions were held such as Nukkad natak competition by Rashtraay, singing competition etc.

I got this college according to my jee mains score. Several other colleges that i could get admitted into were, lnct, sati, and uit rgpv. I chose this college because of it's placement record in 2022 and reputation held by it in my city.

1:90 faculty to student ratio One half of Faculty are old school and teach in a way that doesn't reach students. Other half of Faculty are young but lack the competence in their domain. The faculties are approachable and help if they can. 2 mid semester exams, practical exams and end semester exams are held along with micro, macro, mini lab report and minor and major project. Also quiz and assignments hold marks.

Gym and cafeteria are located near college and the college library is also open till night. Hostel is provided for 1st year boys and 1st and 2nd year girls only. Hostel is good quality and thus has high charges of around 1 lacs per year.
