Patients hand practice is available ..direct contact with patients

We have to schedule our classes..arrange ourself
More work in hospital .lab equipments are less
Physics lab equipments are in shortage .we have to arrange some times

Course Curriculum Overview

If we fail in any 2 subjects .we have 6 months back .after 6 months there will be supplementary conducted .some subjects teaching is not so well.next year main exam we cannot write .we have to write supplementary exams only

Internships Opportunities

4th year of our coarse is the internship .everyday we have compulsory attendance .we are trying to get the stipend .during internship you can try part time job and earn good income as freshers .all the best for internship

1st year college fees is 18000 2nd year college fees is 18000 3rd year college fees is 18000 4th year is internship Scholarship is available in ssp portal Thz coarse completes in 4 years Year wise exam is scheduled

Campus Life

There is 3 storied library building .we can learn in calm place .there are many co circular activites .each year we can participate and enjoy the sports .there are freshers day and graduation day also celebrated

Admission

This college have a good name and patient flow of this college is more .as we can have more contact with patients .we can learn the hospital procedures easily by keeping contact with the class mates .

Faculty

Teachers are good .faculty is also good .my coarse contists if 4 year .3 year we have exams and 4th year is the internship .during internship we can do our parttime jobs nearby .if we fail in the main exam ..we have 6 months back

Night Life

There are hostels of our campus for both girls and boys .library is open 24 hours .there are many canteens in hospitals and also canteen in the campus .near by our campus there r many shops to purchase food items

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is INC approved and they have additional approvals in all over the world. There is clinical postings and community postings which help us to learn to interact with patients in real life. The exams are very difficult to crack and to pass the exams the minimum marks is 40 out of 100.

My days in RGUHS

Placement Experience:

Students were eligible for campus placements through 3rd year final exams. Various hospitals like Columbia Asia, Manipal, Asian Hearts, Max Hopital offered placement to our Students with an average package of aroung 3 to 4 lakhs. Around 25 Students got placement on campus interviews in different hospitals. My plans are to persue for higher studies after my degree and I'm looking forward to it.

Remarks:

Our college is a Christian College so to provide the students a spiritual connection a Catholic Church is provided to pray regularly. This makes our college environment very peaceful. Also other facilities includes the options of library and laboratory.

Remarks:

Not like that but unluckily we are getting only 12 days of holidays in a year. As soon as we finished our 1st year exam we got only one day holiday and next day classwork for 2nd year starts !!!!OMG Also college is not celebrating many of govt holidays.

A lot of cons than pros

I applied for MVJ, Oxford medical college, Sapthagiri Institute of Medical science and Akash medical college. The patient inflow and teaching was better is what i heard and chose this college but reality is different. Admission process is Via the KEA. We have to go through the counseling process and once the process is done over there we are supposed to go to the college and after a mandatory fitness checkup we have to finish the admission process within 4pm of the next day....Read More
