What Students Say

Likes

Not a very strict rule for the attendance, depends on your branch.
Close to main city of prayagraj about a distance of 5km.
Students can go out of campus anytime they want.

Dislikes

College does not provide quality classes.
A very few placement are provided by the college.
No internship, no labs and sports events.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science and engineering department, cariculum does not seems to prepare you for the real world applications. Monthly exams are taken, exams are not so hard studying basics can get you good marks.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee paid by the students is 60000 for all caterory students, a examination fee of 7500 is also payable per year. Hostel fee is different from it which is 22000 and mess fees is paid monthly of 4000. Yearly scholarships is provided from up scholarship.

Campus Life

A very few events are organised in college sometimes not at all. Libraries have outdated books , classes just have boards and seats, no availability of wifi in college even cell tower lags. Na clubs no groups in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel provides you a three seater room along with a table chair and bed, no wifi in Hostel. Hostel mess is cooperative monthly fee is to be paid in mess, food quality is average. Hostel is affordable and registererd through college. PG and rooms are available in locality.

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

Choses this college based on my rank, Addmission process : you have to apply to the college through UPTAC councelling after being shortlisted you have to be present at the physical reporting process for the documents varification.

Faculty

There are about 50 faculty members present in the college, relationship are good with students and teachers can be contacted any time by the means of calls or in person. Semester wise exams are taken and also sessional exams, no of students failing the exams are abnormal.

Night Life

College does not have its own gym centre, have an old cafeteria, dertoriated library. Classes are taken from 9 am to 4 pm with lunch break. Students can hangout at night own there own, but not for girls.

i rate my DRONACHARYA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, 6/10 for course relevance and good nature of teachers but the overall college experience was very average since there is no real college life, no hostel, no network in classes, it's just like school. If you want academic focused college which I would not recommend, you can come to this college

I only take addmission in this college for their quality of education. Yah quality off education is might good and which is effect to student to learn new things some teachers are teaches in their very simple way which student get clearly if if some teacher doesn't done there completed there syllabus they put extra effort and take the extra classes and then the completed their syllabus.

Engineering and tech field i always wanted to pursue i want a nice not hectic job.. I like using tech and exploring its fun so i chose it Curriculum is okayish but sometimes irrelevant and the pressure for preparing the irrelevant is immense but yeah it does prepares for outside world. My Honest Experience at ITS Engineering College

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all i don't know the curriculum before I joined this college but after entering I got to know that all aktu college have same worst curriculum. College students are only forced to focus on exams ,no real world problems ,no practical knowledge and some cases professors are only preparing students for gate neither for jobs and placement For the Computer science branches need way more improvement because they have 0 coding culture and students are still dumb upto 3rd year and 4th year Difficulty level of exams is moderate but simultaneously occuring of multiple exams in a year is worst thing I see in this college .

Placement Experience:

Student generally become aligible for campus drives from the 7th semester or 5th semester. To sit for the best companies you usually need no active backlogs and a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above.Some top-tier companies strictly ask for 80% throughout.SRMU sees a mix of MASS RECRUITERS AND CORE companies like AMAZON, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ADANI GROUP, HCL AND COGNIZANT are regulars. We also see companies like SAP AND TATA STEEL for specific roles. Here AVARAGE PACKAGE is around 4.5 LPA TO 5 LPA and HIGHEST PACKAGE 30 LPA. Percentage for getting placement is 80% to 90%.My plans after getting degree is to secure a placment in a CMM level 5 company like TCS or ACCENTURE through a company drive to get that initial brand name on my resume.

Placement Experience:

after 8th semesters , students become eligible for campus placements...many small companies visit here for placements and some big companies too like BYJUs and others.. Highest package is 12 Lacs per annum and lowest 1.5 lacs per annum Average package is around 5 lacs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is around 50% from campus placements ... Many students prepare for competitive exams after course completion like GATE , UPSC ESE and CSE , RRB JE , AE JE , STATE AE JE SSC JE etc .

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

There were better option like IET, Lucknow and private colleges in Noida but firstly I wanted government college and secondly near my home town. That's the best option was IET Lucknow but my score in jee mains that was 86 percentile didn't allow me to be in IET. And don't want to take a single drop for preparation. I cleared my 12th and gave April session JEE main exam. The admission process is very simple. After your JEE result keep eye on UPTU website for registration process. As soon as you register before counseling you will have option to choose list of your choice college. Then there will be 4 rounds of counseling if get the college accept it and you'll get seat allotment letter. IERT a place to experience everything..

My score in UPSEE entrance exam was quite good to get any college in the state but I made a choice for iert because of its legacy, and here we got enough time to pursue our hobbies and to study for next exams like GATE, ESE or UPSC.
