BUILDING MY CAREER AT SHRI RAMSWAROOP MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY.

I'd rate the SRMU course curriculam a solid 4/5. What really influenced my decision to choose b.tech cs here was the L&T COLLABORATION.For real world applications, the university organizes industrial visit and workshops , through I feel students need to do extra online certifications to be 100% ready for the high-tech industry.My suggestion for improvement is SYLLABUS UPDATES the teach world changes fast . Replace older modules with current industry trends more frequently would be a huge help.Exams are quite frequent.We have two internal sessionals folled by the final semester exam and i would rate the difficulty as MODRATE.

L&T EDUTECH - EV Design trainee, Construction Managment and stipend often part of integrated projects. IBM - Data analyst, cloud intern and performance- base stipend. TCS / INFOSYS -Software developer trainee and performance based stipend. There are lots of company its not possible to mention here.

Student generally become aligible for campus drives from the 7th semester or 5th semester. To sit for the best companies you usually need no active backlogs and a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above.Some top-tier companies strictly ask for 80% throughout.SRMU sees a mix of MASS RECRUITERS AND CORE companies like AMAZON, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ADANI GROUP, HCL AND COGNIZANT are regulars. We also see companies like SAP AND TATA STEEL for specific roles. Here AVARAGE PACKAGE is around 4.5 LPA TO 5 LPA and HIGHEST PACKAGE 30 LPA. Percentage for getting placement is 80% to 90%.My plans after getting degree is to secure a placment in a CMM level 5 company like TCS or ACCENTURE through a company drive to get that initial brand name on my resume.

The university has two majore events define the student experience first is ANUBHUTI (Annual cultural fest) usually held in february, this is a massive three days celebration It features everything from star- studded DJ NIGHT AND FASHION SHOWS and second is ULLAS (annual sports fest) typically happening in the winter month (nov/dec) and also have Dandiya delightzz. If i rate a library of srmu 4.5 out of 5 the reasion behind it library has fully AIR-CONDITIONED AND WI-FI enabled.I love the open shelf system, which means you can walk in and browse through 65000+ books yourself. Most of the classroom are SMART CLASSROOMS equipped with projectors and audio-visual systems and specialized lands beond basic labs there are centers of excellence like L&T EDUTECH AI LAB which give a very futuristic feel to our learning and also have student portal for checking attendance ,paying fees and seeing result SRMU has a very active club culture like TECH FUSION (for the geeks who want to build products beyond the syllabus), EXPRESSION (the drama and theater group) and THE MANCH(focuses on public speaking and personality grooming. What makes SRMU unique is the focus on CSR (Corporate social Responsibility). SRMU do many activity like APNI PATHSHALA (A student run initiative where we teach under privileged kids from nearby villages and 1090 POWER ANGELS (A club that work closely with the UP POLICE to raise social awareness).This activity impact that the groups make the campus feel like community rather than just a business.

IN hostel has three siter room each student have there personal bed,desk and almera and big washroom and also have L.G wasing laundary.The quality of food is very hygenic and tasty and every day have diffrent food.registration process for hostel is 60% of hostel fee u have to pay. if you don't want to take hostel then you have many option available in near campus on matiyare.

choosing college is one of the biggest decision we makes.When I was looking at option in and around locknow,I applide to a few big names like AMITY UNIVERSITY ,BABU BANARSHI DAS UNIVERSITY AND SRMU.Here is my personal take on why i choose SRMU because When i compared my options, I looked at three main things ROI (value for money), campus vibes and academic pressure. Amity has high fees and have top MNC but very high competion on other hand SRMU has moderate fees and have strong mass recruitment. I initially aimed for AKTU GOVERMENT COLLEGE through JEE MAINS but MY JEE rank was not high enough for top-tier goverment branchs that's why i choose SHRI RAMSWAROOP MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY because The curriculum is updated and the faculty is supportive.For admission in ug courses you need 45-50% in class 12th and also accepted JEE MAINS ,CUET AND SRMUSET.

The FACULTY-TO-STUDENT ratio at SRMU is actually quite decent -usually around 1:15 or 1:20 in core classes, so you are not just a face in the crowd. The relation with teacher is mostaly casual and supportive. The Faculty i really connected with Dr. Satya bhushan verma and prof Dr. Anil kumar pandey because they don't just read form PPTs they bring industry experiance into the class room. They are definitely among the best faculities for their pracical approach.on the flip side, I wasn't a fan of prof Dr. rajeev kumar because theire teaching style felt a bit out dated. The course curriculum is very relevant, especially with the industry tie-ups like L&T. We have MID-SEM and one END-SEM per semester.

Living on campus means folling a schedule like HOSTEL IN TIMINGS IS 9:00 PM TO 9:30 PM and campus entry timing is 8:00 pm and facility timings like library 9:00 pm, gym timing is 8:30 pm. My favorite hangout spots is THE AMPHITHEATRE & CENTRAL LAWN here we set in a group and play guitars or just talk and cafeteria kipskks here we eat late eveing maggie or tea.FOR security prospective yes the university is generally safe because the police station is at the door of srmu and all student have to do biometric attendance.
