Course Curriculum Overview

3

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced your decision to choose this course is that here for electrical engineering aspirants, course curriculum is nice and well designed with World class faculty members. the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits , I would rate this as 5/10 the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods is that have more interactions during teaching with the students, ask questions and resolve queries. The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level is nice ... after 1st month, in regular intervals of around 1 months ,there are exam that are easy to medium level to clear.

Internships Opportunities

3

Very less intership opportunities for UIET department... Students must apply for internships on their own... Junior intern are among some of the roles offered... small Fintech companies offer intership opportunities to us ranging from 5000 per month to 20000 per month.

Placement Experience

2

after 8th semesters , students become eligible for campus placements...many small companies visit here for placements and some big companies too like BYJUs and others.. Highest package is 12 Lacs per annum and lowest 1.5 lacs per annum Average package is around 5 lacs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is around 50% from campus placements ... Many students prepare for competitive exams after course completion like GATE , UPSC ESE and CSE , RRB JE , AE JE , STATE AE JE SSC JE etc .

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tuition fees of Btech programme for four years taken admission in 2024 is Rs4,61,600 . UP government provides scholarship for UP domicile students with family income less than 4 lacs per annum .

Campus Life

4

A cultural fest named TARANG held in BBAU , Auditorium in MarchMonth 2025 that was organised by School of Management and Commerceand it was a fantastic fest with lots snd lots of opportunities for young talents with activities like Singing, Dancing solo and group, Case Study, Quiz , Standup Comedy and much more . The probability of finding the required books for Engineering course in the library that is Gautam Buddha Central Library is very less . The classroom are equipped with smart board for better understanding and accessibility and a mic podium, nice furniture and spacious classes. Sports fest named UDGAM happens every year in the month of MARCH every year which sees participation from various colleges and institutions of Lucknow and nearby ares . Many students runs social groups and organisation can be found here like BAPSA , SAPS , etc for students welfare and demands All the required club for development and growth are also available here in the campus area... students can join various clubs and groups of their choices .

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels is provided to girls students snd almost all girls gets hostel facilities but for Boys hostels is very less in numbers with respect to the number of boys taking admission... Rooms of hostels are good ...A bed , a chair , fan , tubelight, A cupboard, A study table is provided Every boys hostels have its own mess .. There are total five boys hostels in BBAU , Ashoka , Kanishka, Siddhartha, RCA , and a newly made OBC boys hostel ... I would rate mess as 6/10 , as most mess have only veg food . Rooms are easily found for people not getting hostels, amount ranging from from 2000 to 7000 a room per month can be found near BBAU Gate no1 , 2 & 3 .

Admission

I have only applied in this college for admission in Electrical Engineering as this was the Best option for me based on my JEE marks and and rankings. I got admission here in Spot Counselling after 1st round counselling results. Admission process is too easy for Engineering course inBTECH , Admission is through JEE Mains exam and CUET UG exam ..after results of this competitive after applying for the counselling process of BBAU through its website and reading its bronchure for further process

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:10 ... Faculties are students friendly and too approachable. As I have just completed my 1st semester, I liked Nimisha Ma'am's teaching style and techniques so interesting and better than rest . Faculties are knowledgeable here and most faculties are highly qualified. Yet , some of the faculties don't know how to teach students in an interactive ways and hence make classes boring. Some faculties used to be absent from classes for lame reasons . Sessional and End semesters exams here are easy to medium level as most questions are from previous year papers and mostly from faculties notes , yet some notorious and non serious students fails to clear the exams . I would rate the course curriculum as 7/10 . Some extra subjects are being added for no reasons ...Some subjects are compulsory subjects that could be merged with similar subject yet not done . I would overall rate faculty members here in UIET department as 3.5/5 .

Night Life

3

Night life is BBAU is also nice bit with some development still needed like , installation of various street lights in some places Gyms and cafeteria are available in campus areas Gym is opened in Morning hours and Evening hours only for college students... cafeteria opens 8am and closes around 8 pm and is located near UIET department. No curfew timings for Boys hostels whereas Girls curfew timings is set as 8 pm . Bodhi Park near UIET department, VC Ground and Environmental Department ground can be considered as famous hangout places .
