The good, bad and unexpected about G.L BAJAJ, Greater Noida

•I wanted to learn ai and ml so that's why i chose this course . •In the curriculum there are subjects like AI which teaches us about real life application of ai and how it works like chatgpt and through machine learning we can also create ai applications. •We have learned Operating System which have taught us how to better interact with our system like laptop, pc,etc. •Exams timings are okay but we get very less to none gaps between exams.

•Some of the Virtual internships for 2nd year are AWS , Eduskills , etc are provided and these are kind of like courses for certification. •Paid internship are offered from companies like cisco, Accenture, Intel , Jp Morgan, and various companies and their stipend varies from company to company. •We have to make two minor project during second and third year and 1 major project for final year.

•From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. •Coding tests are conducted to select top coders and then they are trained and given some opportunities for early placements. •But for all students campus placements starts in final year. •Some of the companies visited are Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, R&D , VI, Cisco, JustPay, PocketFM, Junglee games,HashedIn , Deloitte, etc. •And these companies provide average package of 5 to 6 lpa as per latest data of 2025. •Some most heard companies visited are Samsung, Tailored Ai, Autodesk, Commvault, Informatica , etc provide higher package.

•My first year total fees was 1,51,000, then for later 2nd to 3rd year im paying 1,41,000, and will be paying same in 4th year. •Tuition fees is 1,05,450. •Internal Test fee is 3500. •Registration fee is 2000. •Deparmental society and outreach activities fee is 9850. •College security is 1000. •Book bank fee is 95000. •Career planning and technical grooming fee is 9850. •Institute Industry interface fee is 9850. •Medical Insurance fee is 500. •Fees for other branches is also almost same. •Total fees has been increasing 10000 every year for newcomers. •Fee waiver is provided for students who excel in jee mains exams and take addmission for counselling. These students do not have to pay tution fees. •Up Government scholarship is available for students whose parents income is less than 2 lakh. And scholarship is provided by up government around 50 thousand. •Merit for up government scholarship is 60% in 12th and graduation and student must have took admission through jee mains counselling.

•Annually freshers is conducted every year for fresh students around November and December. •Also Dandiya night is held during navratri every year. •Some other events are also conducted from time to time. •There is projector in almost every classroom for teaching. •Labs have functional PCs. •And there is IOS lab , CAD lab , 5G lab. •Extracurricular activities are conducted through cultural and tech clubs in college . •Sports on district level is conducted through AKTU in college.

•Hostel facilities for almost every hostel here is same •Facilities provided in room are bed, table, Wardrobe, chair, light, Fan, Ac, Bathroom. •Some hostels meal quality is very and some hostels meal quality is avg. •College hostel meal quality is avg and sometimes bad. •Hostel prices are almost same 130000-140000 per year.

•I applied for G L BAJAJ Mathura, but problem with that college was that girls hostel is very far away and also placement rate is less than G L BAJAJ Greater noida. •I also applied for Galgotiya college and university which in Greater noida too , but there is lack of seriousness in students and faculty for studies and placements . •To take admission in my college u can either come through jee mains counselling or through direct admission which requires good grades in 12th exam.

•I think there is around 200+ facilities. But the students are many students in our college, only in one batch there are 1500 + students which is a lot considering there are other batches too which also have 1500 + to 1800+ students. •There is a sir who teach us for technical training, his name is Horesh Sir he trains us for dsa with so much ambition and hard work , and his way of explaining is very understandable. •Their are some teachers who us very rude and strict, an hod of my branch is very rude and a teacher who teached us mini project lab, i would not like to name them. •There is 3 exams in college, sessional 1 which is easier and contains 1&2 chapters then their is sessional 2 which contains more than 3 chapter , then there's Pre university test which is harder and contains all chapters. •Lot of the subjects that is taught to us not revelent to curriculum.

•There is separate gym for boys and girls in their respective college hostels. •There is 4 cafeteria in our college •There is 2 Library. •The college gate closes everyday at 8pm for boys except for weekends it closes at 9pm and for girls college hostel closes at 6pm, as far as i know. •Classes start around 9:00 - 9:20 am and end at 4:30pm. •Famous hangout places are cafeterias, college ground at which students eat lunch, and outside college famous hangout area is Paintra and Jagat Farm. •There is some to none nightlife in college.
