Decoding RKGIT: An Honest Student Review

The demand for the engineers graduated from the Computer Science and Engineering is increasing that's why I take admission in this college. The course curriculum is well structured and design to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills and make them industry ready. The college may focus more on emerging technologies such as Block chain, Cybersecurity etc. The exams are held on monthly basis and their difficulty level is moderate and it helps students i their preparation.

You will not get many intership oppurtunity on campus. You have to apply off campus for good campus intership oppurtunities. And for off campus you have to work on very good communications skills , and good projects. Overall the internship provided by the college is ok ok or average type. Nearly 40-50% students got intership on campus.

The placement of this college is average as compared to other private colleges of AKTU. From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for the placements. Many companies visit the college like Wipro,Talent Serve, HCL Tech, TCS etc. The highest package is 34LPA( Which is off campus) and the average package is the college is near about 6LPA. Nearly 75% of the students got placed in various companies.

The first year fees for my course that is CSE(Data Science) is 135000. The fees from the second year onwards is 120000. The fees is same for all the category and it is till fourth year. Fees for B.Tech First Year(All Branches) Tuition Fees: 104250, Registration charges: 2500, Book Bank: 10000, Academic Security(Refundable): 5000, Accidental Group Insurance Charge: 250, From second year onwards, the fees is 120000 as Book Bank Charges and Security fees is removed. The fees for the B.Pharma is 135000/year. If you score good marks in University Examinations (more than 90%), then you will get scholarship ranging 11000-51000 based upon your grade.

There are various clubs and societies in this college like STHAAPATYA(For IOT Student ), UNWAAN(Drama Society), BINARY CLUB (Whch is for CSE student Coding club) etc. On the occassion of Navaratri, Mata ki CHOWKI ( Which is oraganised by YANRIKOM Society) is oraganised every year in the college. All the Societies and clubs are run by the students itself. This improve their Leadership skills and they also get an experience of how to work with the team and manage the Team and how to coperate with seniors and fellow mates.

Hostel of this college is little bit ok ok, you will get one Bed. one study table & one Almirah. The normal rooms of three students with A.C or not a A.C rooms is also available There is free wifi available in hostle for 1st year There is 3 hostel 2 for boys and 1 for girls The quality of food is average just like other private colleges The menu is different for different days which changes over time. The rate of Hostel is cheaper than all other colleges present in Ghaziabad.

I prefer this college because I got CSE(DS) branch in this college. In other colleges I get other branches except CSE due to higher cutoff. The Infrastructure of this college is quit better than other private colleges of AKTU and teachers of this college is well qualified, Helpful and Knowledgeable. The sports facilities provided by the college is also good. The admission is through UPTAC Councelling (Based on your Jee mains score) .

The Faculties of the college is very helpful in nature. One can ask doubt to the faculties through Whatsapp and calls also. In one semester there are three Internal exams, Sessional Test 1, Sessional Test2 and Pre University Test. After this the external theory exams are conducted by AKTU as our college is affiliated to it. The difficulty of the exams are moderate. Nearly 80-85% students got pass. The course curriculum is very relevent to the current market demands. Althrough I am in 1st year I have asked some seniors about the curriculum and they said it too.

After 8:30 p.m you are not allowed to leave the college campus because of safety and security of the students. But you can roam in the college campus whenever you want. The college is open till 2:30 a.m in the night. The college also has one caffeteria which is open till 2:30 a.m. in the night. In the you can hangout in garden, cafeteria,etc.
