College Review

Positive is the attendance and the discipline in the college is the most concern. Negative feedback as on I didn't experience any in my college career. Over-all for a student preferring engineering SFIT is a good option.

The course and the exam structure in our college was based on Mumbai University exam structure. The faculties were well trained and delivered the content perfectly. The internal exam were also according to the Mumbai University Exam structure

St Francis offer's a great opportunity for placement. But as in many MNC companies prefer candidate above 60%+ if you lie in that creteria there are many chances of you getting placed. Many small companies are also encouraged. Internship was needed in our case as we didn't see any of that during our college time. My overall experience regarding placement is Very Good.

Every Couple of months we used to have event's in our college. The main annual event is called IRIS which happens in the second half of our semester. This event contains many indoor and outdoor fum activities including technical and non-technical.

Its overall falls in that same shoe like any orther private college. The fee fall's in moderate range. But if you have any caste related documents you get discount on fees. I have seen soe of my friends even paying 8k P.A fees. The fee is under 1lakh for normal students.

I applied for the minority scholarship and was eventually selected for the same. The college has tie-up with some banks which give us an attractive interest rate and some offers for students.I had availed education loan .

Labs are equipped with high-end Machine's. Lab are very well maintained and have all the facilities. Regarding sports there are many indoor games available in the gymkhana and we have volleyball, football and ring football as well as badminton court in college.

I never opted Hostel, but Francis Provide hostel services but not sure about the rates. But as contacted with some of my friends who had availed this service they were happy it was good and they didn't had any bad experience. But it was quite strict regarding the timings.

The network is quite good and the senior member are also helpful. We had a committee named students council were the senior member were the part of the committee and if we had any problem regarding any faculty we can complain to the student council and the action was immediate.

As the college was minority based college and been in the minority section the admission process for me was not that difficult , but still we have alot of students applying for the same course resulting we had undergone interview process and the selection was done based on that

The Faculty in our college were well trained and were able to deliver the content of study perfectly .Facilities never hesitate to solve our problems even after their lecture timings. We used to visited their faculty room any time if we had amy sort of concern regarding the course.
