Remarks

Faculty is good as well as supportive and thats the best part of the college. But talking about the infrastructure of the college, it is not so good. The college is build in such an area where there is lack of facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and is as same as MBBS except some additional subjects which are related to our dentistry. Our course comprises of 4 year plus 1yr internship. Internship is mandatory for all the students. Exams are held in phases. Like 2 internals then 1 preproff and then the main professional exam.

Placement Experience

Yes, my college provide internships for over college students as well for the students coming from other colleges. Talking ablut placements and job opportunities, as we know job opportunities are very less for BDS students so the left option for them is to open their own clinic

College Events

Events celebrated in our college are almost every festival is celebrated like holi, diwali ,dusshera, etc. then there is fest freshers and sports week. During sports week there are many events done and everyone take part jn them

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to me the fees expense is ok ok types. i mean that the tuition fee is quite good like it is worthy of it. but the hostel and mess fees is quite expensive for me. Hostels are separate in our college for both girls and boys

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to the students coming from week background as well as for the students from backward classes and sections including SC, ST, OBC. apart from that scholarships are also given to the students who are getting distinctions in exams

Campus Life

Talking about the extra curricular activities. many activities are held during a year such as sports day, freshers, fest and small small events. The sports week last for atleast 7 days which includes all games and sports

Hostel Facilities

Hostels in our college are separte for both boys and girls. The hostels are built good and the infrastructure is also good. There arr 2 girls hostel one is AC hostel amd the other lme is NON AC hostel.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are off course very helpful. The things or practicals we skip during our lectures or maybe have some doubt, we can ask them anytime and they are always ready to help and thats the best part. There's a very good bond between the juniors and seniors

Admission

By an all over india entrance exam i.e NEET. There is a conselling process done for the students clearing the exam and coming in merit. According to their ranks they are provided with the college of their choices.

Faculty

The faculty of my college is very supportive. Including all the BDS and MDS staff. They are always there to help at anytime.including the preclincs as well as clinics. during patient work also the staff is always ready to help

Best Private dental college of Uttarakhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is a very artistic course. I chose this course because I'm interested in the medical field and could not get a government MBBS college. The curriculum prepares us for everything we would need to maintain our own clinic and earn money through our skills. The teaching could be improved a lot of the teachers teaching the practical and theory classes coordinate with each other more so that we are taught the same topics at the same time in both theory and practical. The internal exams are once every three months and one professional exam at the end of the year.The internals are very hard and it's incredibly difficult to pass in them as well have to secure 50% marks in both practical and theory of each and every subject.

4 years of bds course nad 1 year of internship. Faculty members are skilled, brilliant, helpful and very cooperative. It is a yearly program but internal exams also occur after 4 months. Teachers take class tests weekly.

Remarks:

To be very honest, there may be better colleges, but after my two months of research on more than 8 dental colleges in north India, I found that SDCH was best for me. Of course, there are many factors: The affordable fee. The fascinating and refreshing weather. The location of the college. The college has pg departments. Regular festival celebrations, Fest, Sports week, DJ nights, Etc. College is located on the bank of holy river ganga, you can witness daily sunrise through the mountains. I love the weather of Rishikesh as well as the location of college, it is located far from the city commotion. You can walk on the bank of river or jog daily or just sit there with your loved ones, you will feel fresh and fresh and fresh. Helping faculties, no compromise in study, you may have to face daily viva and questions in classroom. You can't hide yourself from the eyes of faculties (may not be good for some. Laboratories have more than enough instruments, machines. etc. The nearest market is at distance of 10 to 15 mins. Of distance – Triveni Ghat. Stationery shops and restaurants are just outside the college campus. College canteen is also there where you will be found in boring lectures eating bread pakoda and Maggie with coffee;). Ragging word is not there in SDCH seniors dictionary. In fact, they will help you in many ways in growing your personalities, in your studies and of course during exams. They will make you aware of all the tough situations you will be facing in coming days. The only thing they want back in return is RESPECT from juniors. You cannot roam all day in the rishikesh on working days, there is fixed timing for daily outing and fixes procedures for gate pass.

Remarks:

Weel its a good college as far as academics in concerned but has some strict rules.Opd lacks imas no of patients available for ug students are limited hostel and mess are fine. Enviroment is also. Also the place rishikesh where college is situated is a nice place.

A one-of-its-kind Experience.

Remarks:

The management is not so bad. Actually the whole of them are supportive of the academics. We get all the support we need from both them and the faculty. I have enjoyed the time spent in college so far. I consider this the most precious time in my student life. So I want to have some fun so that I won't look back and regret in future. This is the best opportunity I have and I will make some memories. I am happy to be here at SDCH. A proud SDCHian!

College is really great!

Remarks:

The college has taught me a lot of new things. There has been serious studying going on and overall, it is fun with friends. I am happy that I got into this college, anyway.It has great faculty and great facilities that I am sure that I'll be getting out as a very good doctor indeed. I have some friends both among my classmates and the seniors, who are all nice to us, by the way. It'll be a long journey but I hope for the best.

Remarks:

College management is very good and concerning. They have deputed staff on various committees who works well for students like women's cell and many such committees. In my opinion, this college is quiet student friendly. My knowledge and overall development reached new skies since I joined this college under able guidance and cooperation of management and staff.

Is it compulsory to stay in hostel???

Hostel accommodation is not compulsory for students pursuing BDS program at Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute. But it is recommended that students get hostel accommodations.

UDMRI-Best dental college in Uttarakhand

I applied for the colleges of UP but the reason for not attending is that I don't want to stay in a hostel but In UDMRI there is convenient bus service up to the college which drops us at the college gate as the college is and it's easy for me to do up-down.
