4 years of bds course nad 1 year of internship.
Faculty members are skilled, brilliant, helpful and very cooperative.
It is a yearly program but internal exams also occur after 4 months.
Teachers take class tests weekly.
I opted for this course as I wanted to become a DENTIST.
Faculty: ratio is there is 1 teacher available always for every 20 students.
Faculties are master graduates in their respective fields and some are b.d.s graduates who are also very helpful.
Exams after every 3 months and a final professional YEAR-END examination and practical are done.
The faculty-to-student ratio is good. The faculty is quite qualified. There is also a sufficient number of non-technical staff to provide an ambience of self-learning. The faculty promotes rational and practical behaviour towards the subjects taught. They promote the efficient use of available resources.
For me, BDS is a perfect course as teachers and faculty members here are brilliant.
They are so helpful and explain each concept multiple times.
Practical classes are over the top as all the departments are fully equipped with dental chairs, sterilization machines.
I chose this course because I feel like the people in India are so much unaware of their oral hygiene and don't take proper care of it with later on leads to many complications. So I wanted to join this field and make them aware of their bad oral habits treat their oral and dental problems as it's very important to have healthy oral hygiene and dental health as well. The faculty staff is very supportive and understanding they help us out with our problems and positively guide us towards our practice as well as theory work. There are 2 internal assessment exams 1 preprofessional exam and a final professional exam for each year. In the first year, I was a bit nervous about the exams and viva, and as I started giving exams. I got mentally prepared for further coming years.
The faculty here is extremely supportive and qualified.
They help us in every aspect of the course, be it clinical or theoretical.
We have 4 subjects in the first year, 3 in the second and third year, and 8 subjects in the final year.
Those candidates seeking admission to the BDS course must secure at least 50% marks in 10+2 examinations conducted by U.P board or any other recognized HS board/university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. And those who have applied for UG NEET exam are eligible to apply under management quota.
Faculty is good as well as supportive and thats the best part of the college. But talking about the infrastructure of the college, it is not so good. The college is build in such an area where there is lack of facilities
Overall experience of the college is good . The faculty is well qualified and experienced enough to handle students . The ratio of student teacher is also average not very high .
