Likes
- I liked the competitiveness in the peers. Also the college has a good market value and outstanding reach other than any colleges in Noida. It has a descent placement records which is better than most of the college.
- The college offers you a strict environment especially for 1st year students. There will be no off on Saturdays. Faculties are very disciplined.
- In greator Noida Gl Bajaj is considered as the best private college in terms of their curriculum and studious environment and with my experience it's absolutely true.
Dislikes
- I personally sometimes fell too exhausted with the college timetable and syllabus. They do not gave us much holidays . The college infrastructure is not great.
- For first year students there will be no college life for you . You cannot join in any clubs or societies. You can join different clubs from second year onwards. The faculties will say that you are a fresher you need to adapt in our environment first
- College campus is extremely compacted and very small in size. You never get a college vibe here ,you feel like you are in a school. However there are some other private college which have very beautiful campus in Noida.
Course Curriculum Overview
From my observation the course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive. They prepare you for placements and other real world applications. Their placement cell and infrastructure is pretty impressive. Gl Bajaj can guarantee you a placement if you consistently work hard in your college days.
Internships Opportunities
you will get many chances to grab internisps in college in Every year . The college let you visit to many corporate offices and other technical field for various opportunities. TCS and INFOSYS also offers internships for freshers.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible from 6th semester for the placement rounds. All the mass recruit companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture,etc as well as big fang companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon comes for placement . However it's not easy to get placement because being in a private college the number of students are large and the offers are very limited. You have to prepare yourself hard and also look for off-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of Btech CSE and it's other specialisation is 1.66 lakh in 2024 . However it's keep on increasing every year. Along with that you have to pay 7k or 8k for college uniform. The fee of other department of Btech ( non CSE branch) is lower. College doesn't provide any scholarship on its own. You can only apply for Uttar Pradesh government scholarship from the behalf of your college if you are a resident of UP. If you belong to any other state there will be no scholarship option for you. overall i can say that gl Bajaj has a high annual fee structure.
Campus Life
The annual fest is held in November or December and last for 3 to 4 days. There will be many hackathons and other coding competitions from second year onwards. They have also great tech clubs and coding clubs. They also invites many mentors to guide you in your placement journey . There are two libraries in college campus and they are pretty good and well maintained. The libraries had a wide variety of Book and journals for every branch and you can access them easily. The classroom for btech department is not really good they do not have AC in them but the departments like MBA , PGDM have really fancy classroom and their building block is also very cool . The campus life is not good in terms of enjoyment because they always keep you busy in their syllabus.
Hostel Facilities
The charge for double seater AC room is 1.65 lakh and non AC room is 1.5 lakh . However the charges keeps on decreasing if you opt for triple bed rooms. Girls hostel are very strict and you have to come before 6 pm in hostel otherwise they call your parents. If you want to go outside for a whole day then you have to ask your parents first and the warden will talk to your parents first for their approval. The hostel Menu is not great , you'll get bored after a couple of months . You can Book your hostel room at the time of your admission in college.
Admission
I scored 91.5 percentile in jee 2024 mains. That's why I decided to complete my BTech from a decent private college. And after all the research i finally decided to take admission in Gl Bajaj because it is better than other private college in terms of its strictness, curriculum, Market value. Gl Bajaj is the most respected college in Greater Noida. The college fests are great. They often invite really big faces and artists. Their sport tournament and other facilities are also impressive. However other colleges really lacks in these criteria.
Faculty
The faculties are not very skilled and qualified here you have to depend on yourself. But they are supportive and friendly. Sometime if are stuck in a doubt, most of the faculties are not capable to solve your doubt. There are total 3 internal exams conducted in a semester. The questions level are moderate and If you fail in any exam then there will be a revised exam conducted for those students. Overall college will not let you fail in any exam, they somehow manage to pass you. So don't be too worried about that.
Night Life
Honestly speaking there is no night life in Gl Bajaj. The food offered in college canteen and hostel mess is miserable. The gym facilities are pretty good. But you can hangout outside the college campus. Greator Noida has a great night life.
